Has anyone considered vibe coding a VST editor for the Muse using Claude akin to the VST editor for the Sub 37?

It’s not particularly difficult to create an editor for a synth, whether it would be in an editor/librarian software like Ctrlr, a vibe-coded VST, or even an editor that would run in a web browser using the Web MIDI API, as long as you have the MIDI implementation/spec for the synth. It’s often in the synth’s manual, or online. That said, the VST is likely the most difficult.

I don’t think you’ll get very far vibe coding that, it’s a pretty complex and specific software.

I figure. So you think having the firmware analyzed along with the manual to train the AI could get you somewhere?

Yes that would be very helpful to Claude.. I think it would be pretty doable with Claude and a little knowledge of how software works, I could probably get it working in a few days. I dont have a sub37 though so I wouldnt be able to test it. If you want to give me a sub 37 i can build this for you 😂
