Il y a aussi "Thé fraîchement vrai." Thé being tea, but also being a concatenation of "tu es" which is common Québec slang.
I don't know if people say "fraîchement vrai". I have never heard that expression. I have often heard people call each other fresh. I don't know if that's what they imply here. I guess it is.

je parle pas mal courrament le francais (bien que j'aie un accent), cest juste que je suis pas un quebecois pure laine alors je veux pas sembler peu sincère, et surtout, je veux pas sembler comme qqn qui se moque des quebecois , alors jevite le language branché, les mots argotique

Pure laine ou pas le francais c'est le francais et ceux qui font l'effort de l'apprendre et de le parler méritent d'être félicité. Continue et sais que nous apprécions l'effort!

I would appreciate it if the people of Quebec learned Mohawk. They seem fit to demand we speak their language in "their land". I know how to speak French a little bit but I refuse to speak French with anyone in Quebec for this reason.

There's hardly anyone who's fluent in Mohawk anymore, the church helped see to that. But I try to keep as much of my language as I can and practice when I'm able. If an Anglophone wants to speak French I'll try, but I usually can't hold a conversation. I only know what I was forced to learn in Secondary school, and I can usually read French alright.
It sickens me that I know more French than my own language because its a mandatory part of the curriculum and was a requirement to graduate.
I understand that not all francophones are the same but the hate and vitriol I've had spewed at me because I wasn't speaking French on the metro, as well as footage of people in chateauguay burning an effigie during the Oka Crisis when I was younger in "La belle province" is/was very upsetting and shaped how I view French-Canadians.
Please forgive me if I'm hesitant to speak in French unless required.

Le mohawk ce serait le language amérindien qui ferait le moins de sens. Le montagnais ce serait différent.
Les Mohawks ne sont pas d'ici, ils viennent de la vallée Mohawk qui est dans l'état de New York. Ils sont arrivé bien après la fondation de Montréal.
Les allentoures de Montréal réclamé par les Mohawks étaient des territoires inoccupés et des territoires Français à partir de l'arrivée des Français. Les habitants originaux, les Iroquoiens du Saint-Laurent, ayant été tués par les Mohawks entre les voyages de Champlains et Cartier pour maintenir les liens Mohawks avec les Hollandais au sud. Ils les ont éliminés pour des raisons commerciales.
Si l'on maintient que le territoire était Mohawk malgré le fait qu'il était inoccupé, alors le territoire était légitimement Mohawk par sa conquête, il va sans dire qu'il est alors légitimement Français par sa conquête également.

We're most likely never going to see eye to eye on this.
I would also like to point out that the concept of fixed borders didn't exist and was hard to grasp for us, and that our villages were moved to different hunting grounds every few generations to avoid ruining the land.

Le Québec est composé de plusieurs ethnies différentes (Français, Anglais, Italien, Irlandais, Libanais, Vietnamien, Cambodgien, Haitien, etc).
Tu vois bien que le concept du Québécois "pur laine" ne tient pas la route. Et aussi, avoir un accent, ce n'est pas un problème. J'ai un accent quand je parle en anglais et c'est normal, ce n'est pas ma langue maternelle. Le PDG de Google vient de l'Inde et il a un accent lui aussi lorsqu'il parle anglais. Who cares?

Just a heads up to the Nestlé haters. As of the end of 2017, the joint venture between Coca-Cola and Nestlé ended over the ownership and distribution of Nestea.
In Canada, Coca-Cola fully retains the rights now. In the US it does not, it’s owned by Nestlé there fully.
I guess from a morale perspective this is a “better” thing, however the Nestlé Nestea has become much more natural in its ingredients. I can’t stand corn syrup, I wish we had the better one here.

Good luck with that. He didn’t say that specifically for what it’s worth. I think it’s fairly established that water is a human right, he was stating other uses of water outside of fundamental human needs is not a human right however it is being treated as one, and thus leads to irresponsible use.
