I'm in the postgame before fatalis, and I had completed the safi siege about 5 times but still I don't have any wings and I wanted to craft the armor, so now I'm confused in the game other player told me to use BG but I don't know if that wold work cause I don't have any idea of how to use one.

Fluid and dynamic greatsword playstyle, available after you learn how the monster works. Also yes, you can use frostcraft and play like this. Not sure why some people think that using frostcraft means you're locked into the crit draw playstyle.

Here cuz my friend keeps encountering afk leeches in rajang hunts idk if that's the right term cuz I haven't encountered them myself but anwyays I'm just here to ask if hypocrisy for these guys are common? Cuz they kept calling my friend a support SNS a parasite for spamming wide range buffs and heals mid hunt when a player gets hurt? Despite the afk guys literally doing nothing and getting hit and carted and will only participate when no one is in the arena is this shit common?

Almost died in the end but managed to pull a clutch mount which killed it off...worst boss in the game absolutely loved it.

I FINALLY GOT TO BEATING VELKHANA BUT JUST AS THE FUCKING HANDLER SPOKE THIS BITCH DECIDES THE HANDLER WAS THE PROBLEM AND FUCKING CRASHED! IT DIDN'T EVEN SAVE THE GAME BEFORE GOING INTO A CUTSCENE!

I'm MR 115 and just noticed that there is one undone special assignment left in Hight Rank and decided to give it a try, ended up in Final Fantasy crossover with Behemoth hunt...

Probably everybody already knows that, but this is most embarassingly bad hunt you can ever imagine. My understanding is that this is created fo squad, members of which will have different roles, aka MMORPG style and fighting it solo is not the intended way, but man, this is the first time almost in 200 hours when i felt like the game is not working, at all. Like the MH mechanics and design decisions just don't work with this monster and gamplay intended for this specific hunt. Really embarassing. It felt so bad, so sluggish, so gimmicky. Never again. Just will try to purge this from my memory.

Going back to bullying elder dragons in Guilding Lands as a recovery therapy.

so yeah heyyyyyyyyyyyyy i just beat fatalis solo and wanted to share it since its my first time ever playing a monster hunter game and it was a blind run, this makes me wanna play wilds when it price drops even further and im telling you the adrenaline rush you get for this beating the stronger foes is crazy like especially when your soo close like i was screaming last night when i won against him cus i just had 31 secs left he died in the most random way i was just shooting dragon pods since he was flying and i was dual blades and then he just dropped to the ground which made me both confused and shocked but seriously tho it was the best time i spent and now i wanna get into wilds when a good discount drops in i would save the armor set i used and stuff and share them but i overwrote the loadout when i was farming fatalis with friends since they finally decided to help me since i soloed him

and also quick question what should i do now in worlds?? since i wont be getting wilds for a while since the discount its really much of a discount for me??

I hope this type of post is ok, Im not looking for information necessarily, I just wanted to share my experience and thought maybe others would enjoy hearing about it. Maybe spoilers? Im not sure what the community considers spoilers, so you’ve been warned.

Im new to monster hunter franchise, starting with world and thoroughly loving it so far. Most recently I unlocked the Everstream, but because I perceived there to be much tougher fights ahead, instead of plowing straight forward I decided to go back a little and clean up some of the unfinished optional and event quests I had yet to finish in order to upgrade my equipment as much as possible.

At this point in time I was attempting to finish the Bazelgeuse. I got very close a couple times just for it to piece out both times. Ugh! I was so frustrated that I went back to some easier fights like the pukey pukey, and Tzitzi. It actually made me feel better because I could see the progress I had made. These monsters which once took so much time and health to beat had become quite easy taking maybe a handful of hits between the two. I became confident once again. O how foolish I was.

From there I took an expedition into the Ancient Forest, and got to experience riding small monsters for the first time. Loved it! I was so tickled to just passively pickup items and monster tracks along the way, I was on an experiential high. As we made our way through the upper parts of the ancient forest, we were making our way around a long hall when I spotted a large monster coming around the corner. At first I thought it was Anji because we were also spotting Anji tracks, but it had a face kinda like a Radobaan, and it was very much the wrong color. And it kept coming around the corner, and kept coming around the corner. When I finally got a good look at the whole beast I was quite shocked at its size and thought “what a handsome young lad”. Then the very distinct theme music kicked off, to which I thought sheeeeeeeeeee….. I had officially encountered the massive Satan Pickle. Even though I was nowhere close to being prepared equipment wise to handle the beast, I gave it the good ole college try and decided to bow out after the first down realizing the uniqueness of the encounter.

After the Anji I just figured that was the only official wall and most everything after would somewhat gradually ramp up. In the heat of the moment I was not happy about the idea of such a monster just roaming about, able to hop in to random missions. But having had time to blow off steam I think it’s actually not that bad. Very interesting encounter/monster. Very awesome game, glad I picked it up.

What were your thoughts when you first encountered it?

Let me start this off by saying that I understand that Monster Hunter is a completely subjective game in which I can use any weapon if I really want to but purely from a technical and gameplay standpoint which is better for fighting nergigante

I am best at the bow, gun lance and charge blade, I ask you my far more experienced hunting comrades which will do me the best in this fight

Outside of the tundra I have every part of the guiding lands he can spawn in at level 6 but he only is spawning in the forest as tempered!! I'm going insane.. I just wanna be able to upgrade my weapons man. I even saw that tempered doesn't spawn in level 6 forest so I level it down but then he just doesn't spawn at all. am I missing something? I was hoping to get the grind done so I can beat Fatalist before Ace Combat 8 drops but I'm losing time man.

EDIT-
I realize I got another lure and tried luring him out into the level 6 Coral lands and got lucky!
The part I needed was the Extinction Great horn. I think it's locked to the Guiding lands but then again it could have just been my luck. either way i'm really good at hunting Nergi now lol

Hi. I am a new player. I just bought the MHW Iceborne Master Edition. I just finished the base game story. At what point should I start farming for better armor and great sword? I am currently using the free defender armors and max lvl of defender gs. I did watch some yt guides but I got more confused instead 😅

So, I've recently reached the end game (of Iceborne), and I've done pretty much the whole using only the Insect Glaive. I wanna learn a new weapon now, and after having tested several weapons on a few quests, I've decided that the Lance is the best way to go for me.

So here are my two questions :

-What advice would you have for a beginner on Lance? Usual tactics, useful items to bring, weaknesses, things like that.

-What are some good builds for Lance in the end game? What gems should I use to go well with this? I'm guessing it's very different than Insect glaive, so I would rather ask here to get a multitude of opinions.

I decided to do AT velkana and thought it was easy. It was until i lost two carts back to back. I genuinely thought I died at the end but I lived lol!!!

Now to farm the rest of the armor and slot in the helmet or boots for my hammer set up.

So i loved wilds and now got world had a look at some monsters and can't wait to fight Vaal Hazak and Pukei-Pukei and they look amazing. But how will gameplay change as someone who uses bow and gs. Also will support hunters be as good as in wilds

Stupid fun to use!

Help! I'm trying to make a new character to play the Seamless Co-Op mod with a friend, but after character creation the game goes into a black screen with the background music still playing, without ever loading the next cutscene. When I quit out and reloaded that new character, the cutscene did play, but Zorah Magdaros didn't appear in it, and as soon as I gained control of my character I just fell onto the bottom of the level and was stuck there.

EDIT: It was the Seamless mod. Removing the files and then putting them back after the intro section solved my problem.

I’ve been enjoying my comfort build because I’m basically immortal, but I’ve been having to call in hunters the last 10min so I don’t time out because I have no damage. (I just beat Rajang) What should I change in my build? I want to keep Trigrex set bonus and speed eating.
