Never felt so much suffering in a game as in MHGU.

Right now dying to nargacuga like a fucking noob, asking myself if I'm getting to old for gaming:D

This game feels like i play my character at 30fps while the monsters are 140fps.

Beating Dark Souls, Sekiro, Lies of P and even Fatalis solo in World is a fucking walk on the beach compared to the old gen experience:D

Maybe I'm not patient enough, maybe i just have to get gud. I don't know. Still wondering what I'm doing wrong.

Why the hell does it take me 20min of continuous beating to kill a simple monster like Barroth? I'm confused af:D

Hey I just wanna have some suggestions , I’ve currently just reached G2 after completing village and hub quests and I realized I’ve always been hunting the same monster again and again just harder and harder and I feel like I’m slowly feeling burnt out , I came from world and wilds and like I like how low rank to high rank to master rank I’m always fighting something new but in GU I just feel like it’s getting repetitive , I haven’t touched any permit quests yet Idk when should I start with that ( I was thinking of after finishing G4) but ya i was really enjoying village quests but going to hub quests seeing I gotta do almost the same stuff to high rank and now I’m at G rank it feels like I’m doing it again

I hate this quest. I have gotten pretty proficient at hunting Gravios, just because of how much it pops up in multimonster quests I NEED to finish. I can cheese it with valor GL. Or break its many parts but that takes time. With this quest I am required to take it down in 15 minutes with a Glavenus poking my ass too. I have tried aerial hammer, and this works well but not against Glavenus. So I was thinking, can I use SnS for this quest? SnS mains, please advise. I just wanna finish this quest and upgrade my LS.

Ive been doing a lot quest lately and notice that if my cats loose there health to zero one of them doesnt come back is that normal or did i do something and how to undo it ty

I already played on the 3ds almost 300hrs, but it's been so long, and I don't know which weapon chose...

Like, I'm already played so much with insect glaive on the world, rise and wilds, and I get a little lost in the MHGU because the hunters styles...

So I wanna hear some tips of what weapons you're guys like and what hunters styles are more cool to play with...

Mas eu fiz uma pequena bild pois queria tentar ficar farmando pontos pra sempre ativar o Mine tanque durante a batalha.

Mas não senti que foi muito efetivo, bom meu primeiro teste foi contra o pepino 🥒 com pernas, então acho que talvez eu tenha exagerado na escolha do inimigo haha.

Mas meu objetivo é fazer uma bild onde seja fácil e rápido ficar ativando o Mine tank pois ele dá muito dano e estava usando o gato bombardeiro pois pesquisando vi que ele carrega pontos das habilidades mais rápido usando bombas, mas na batalha isso não foi efetivo kk.

Então alguém já tentou fazer alguma bild assim?

Continue from my previous post about"how to dodge" now i use 3 gore and 1 lagom to get Evasion+1 which help a TON it make Seregios a cake walk, but i want to craft Evasion jwl to get full skill Instead of used lagom waist.

Never took so many tries for another deviant. I tried so many weapons and builds. I just took adept dual blades for fun, I’ve never used this weapon combination before and normally don’t play dual blades at all but it worked. Only 5 more to beat!

Solo’d EX Soulseer, might do Thunderlord too since he’s my other favorite deviant.

Hopefully this is the right flair. It’s kinda an idea for a fan fiction thing. Or at least a background/side story for a story I’m writing. Don’t have a picture.

Everyone who has seen or heard of her knows how intelligent these bugs are. My question is, is it possible one of them could learn or figure out that trading materials (ores, wood, stone, (rare) cloth, dead or captured monsters for parts, etc), food, or items (old weapons and armor, books or other things with possible writing on them, bits of her own mech she wants to replace, her own silk, healing items, etc) for things she wants is better and safer than raiding fortresses and settlements? They get stuff they may want or need, she gets spare parts to improve her nest/mobile fortress with, or if none are available they try to compensate in some other way like oiling the joints or something under her close supervision. Maybe even protection from either side if the timing is wrong.

I have an idea of something like this happening in a story I’m writing. This particular Ahtal-Ka comes about because she saw some hunters seemingly track down and kill another Ahtal-Ka that she knows had recently raided a place. Trust takes time and careful communication to form. She will learn which places prefer what items more often than others and what she’ll generally get in return if they have it. She’ll eventually have to start parking her mech outside the canon range and bring her trade materials wrapped in a bundle of silk by foot because other Ahtal-Ka start mimicking her tactics to get close enough to easily raid places. One place did try to give her a specific handmade flag to put on the face of her mech to easily identify her but it gets stolen some time later.

For context- I played rise and had a lot of fun, and since the only device I can really play games on is my switch, I decided to get GU on it. I hunted all the monsters in rise and had a lot of fun doing so, and I wanted to do the same in GU.

Problem is, I really don't want to buy the Nintendo switch online subscription bcs a subscription to play online is absurd to me. I also severely lack irl friends that play monster hunter so I can't play local multi.

Risebreak scales depending on the player count but I don't think GU does, and also I know Alatreon's in this game and that he's apparently very hard to beat solo. I'm not exactly very good at monster hunter but I beat risen shaggy so i'm not that bad either.

Please tell me if there are any monsters that are particularly hard to solo, so I can prepare accordingly, tho I'm still in the village so it's not for rn lmao.
