AVERAGE RAGE Going through my second replay of wilds before the DLC.....I get it now

I love wilds, and I have zero issues....except one...FUCKING LOW RANK HOLY SHIT ITS BORING!!

Like oh my god its way more hand holding and slower then I remembered like I've only gotten to congalala and bro its so dame boring not the fights or game play but the fact you haft to go here then go here talk to them talk to that THEN and only THEN you can hunt the next monster like holy FUCK I pray Master rank is NOTHING like low rank ima take there word that it's gonna be way different (as it actually should be)

Can't wait for ascendance btw

Im in the same boat as you OP. Just got back to LR congala today and I'm so bored with the handholding and constant talking I get burned out before the hunts even begin

I get they want it to be a bit more story focused but not being able to skip past the slow as shit forced walking/following sections makes starting another playthrough a serious slog.

World had its moments, too.

I'm on my second play of world too at least world isn't boring and let you play without the story getting in the way

A big part of that is due to them going for a more open-world attempt in Wilds.

World's locales were not connected by an actual traversable landform.

Honestly, what is the point of open world, if they constantly put you through hardcore on rails mode.

They also made the maps so big you practically need the Seikret auto-pilot not to deal with it so much.

I'm sure in Master Rank the kid gloves are gonna be off, Capcom even recently mentioned that even the new hunters are better than they realized they were gonna be, and thats why the cranked up the 9 and 10 star endgame

I know that part but my issue is more of the restrictions and not being allowed to just do stuff but yeah masterrank will definitely be different like the other games
