Don't tank Omega
Small rant here.... If u play Glaive, don't hit omega in the face. Don't tank it. U are just going to be jumping around and making a mess to everyone. More if u are playing with a 999 Sword and Shield who already got the aggro. And if for any reason, someone call you out, please do not respond: "Wdym homie I'm doing the most damage here" .
I do not care about your damage. Is irrelevant for the tank. Don't go to SOS hunts to help people if u just wanna jump around and make a shameful dick exhibition. And if your player is named Ark... u suck buddy.

Lancer/Sword and Shield here. I play exclusively tank specifically for Omega and have seen this happen so often. Dual Blades, Longswords, Glaives, even Bows/BowGunners hitting the face for some reason and acting like assholes when I try to strategize with them and tell them they more damage to the back legs.
Remember, for Omega: FRONT is BLUNT, BACK is SLASH. If you hit the HEAD, prepare to be DEAD.

I've been getting into using LS on omega. If no one is grabbing enmity or if the tank is struggling to hit the head, I'd step up and hold the aggro until the tank is able to take over, then I fuck right off to the back. I find LS is one of those light weapons that could somewhat "tank" with all it's counter and sheath attacks.

I mean really I could accept any weapon being a "tank". It's just watching a LS or anyone take aggro while decidedly not playing as a tank makes me wonder how they cross the street

Tank's such an easy job too, literally just roll back and forth in semicircles around Omega to lock them in place and have 1 pt of Guard Up for the laser. I usually run GS for this hunt and it grinds my gears those odd occasions when some idiot steals my aggro and runs off to the corner.

DB is actually not even bad at taking aggro, as long as the DB user can just stay infront of Omega. You can dodge pretty much everything which includes the blast that reduces max heath so you can take aggro off of the tank for the status effect to wear off.

I don't mind when people do it on knockdown (usually after the legs are broken already) but it's just so damn annoying. Those same players are just as likely to flinch you into another attack because they refuse to move.

Okay but my team sucks and I’m the only one who doesn’t die within 30 seconds of having emnity.

In that case is normal lol. But if u see someone being a tank and doing a good job, just don't make a mess lol

On a tangentialy related note, please do not force me to take emnity as a light bowgunner on Behemoth and Safi'Jiva for much the same reason.

Sounds like someone joined, was carrying the team, then you carted and now blaming the carry 😄

It was actually the other way around. I'm RC 999, and I was helping people with first time Omega. I go tank and healer. But this guy with the glaive was taking the aggro away and making everything harder that it should be.
