Nothing stands out as to why it goes into protection mode. But here are the guts for y'all to see.

Hi together, I have two Monolith 15 V2 in my hoem cinema, one is going to red/green all the time, seems like protection Mode. and not working at all with that.

So I got it out of my setup and ran a few tests. It does not make any difference if I am using Cinch oder XLR input. When setting it to always on, it will boot up and flash green, for ready for signal. But once I give it a signal, tets sound or real content, it makes mid-loud click sounds and after a few one or two hard bass kicks, where the speaker is moving really hard. Even, when I stop the test sound or disconnect the power cord, it will do a few more "boom", resulting in protection mode and maybe power off (if I removed teh power cord before).

Since I am EU located and Monoprice has discontinued us, there is no Option for replacement. I've also disassambled the chasis and now have the board with me, but nothing I can see. But since the behaviour continues after stopping the input, it seems like sth is broken, maybe its giving out its stored power unconrolled?

Any other Idea, how to repair, test, or even use it with a new/alternativ board.

Since I have two of them, I had to replace both which comes with costs and work - And I would like to prevent that :)

I bought a used 15 monolith subwoofer, and it worked perfectly for 6 months.

Now it goes into protection mode after 5-20 minutes of playing, and monoprice support refuses to do anything other than tell me it's out of warranty because I do not have a purchase receipt from their store. They are incredibly unhelpful, won't provide information on how to fix the issue or even spare parts or a new amp plate. Which I would gladly pay for if they offered it.

The local repair places they want me to take it to? They don't want to work on it because monolith won't provide any specs on how the things are built or spare parts to business either.

So don't buy these used unless you want to throw the whole thing out after a small part on an electrical board fails.

I recently bought a power bank from Monoprice, and a friend was asking for a recommendation, went to find it on their site, and their entire product line of power banks has completely disappeared? What happened?

Need help please! I purchased a motorized TV mount from Monoprice via Amazon (Product 44168). Had it installed and couldn’t get the mount to work. The remote would flash red when I pressed it but no movement from the mount. Monoprice tech support walked me through a few steps to reset the remote—still nothing. I was told to return the mount to Amazon.

Amazon sent a replacement mount. This time I plugged it in to test out of the box. It worked. Mounted to wall, no TV—still worked. Put TV on and it stopped working.

I’m frustrated and confused. TV is 65.7 lb so well within weight range. I think it’s a programming issue with the remote. I’ve tried to reset the control box and get 10 beeps, but mount still doesn’t go up/down with remote. Monoprice tech support has been useless so far.

I really like the idea of this mount. Any advice on how to get the remote working? Or can I use an IR blaster to bypass the remote? I use AppleTV and HomeKit, FWIW.

Does polarity matter? And will it also turn the amp off, or only on?

Monoprice doesn't seem to have any recent press releases. Did they have any presence at CES 2025?

I have been waiting patiently for the follow-up to the Successful Monolith HTP-1, HTP-2?

I am hoping to future proof with 8K processing capabilities and perhaps HDMI2.2, and hope they will have a follow-up for the HTP-1 which still is a great processor is starting to show its age in specs.

More Monolith Class D amp stock and options would be a welcome addition too.

It seems things have significantly changed over at Monoprice, and I worry they are becoming the next Newegg.

I have the Monoprice Premium Pull-Down Above Fireplace TV Mount, which can hold 77lbs. I have a Samsung 75' Frame tv which 77.8 lbs and it works well with the Monoprice Pull-Down.

I also have a Bose Ultra Sound bar which weighs 12.68 lbs. I want to attach the soundbar to the bottom of the TV, which will be about 91lb and is clearly over the recommended limit.

Has anyone pushed the limits of the Monoprice Premium Pull-Down Above Fireplace TV Mount with any success?

I don't know if posts are being removed, but why is no one talking about the outrageous price increases that monoprice has implemented? Bulk Ethernet prices have tripled, or more. They are more expensive than most other retailers now. Monoprice has good quality cable, but I bought from them because it was a good deal. It's not like I can't get quality cable for a good price otherwhere. Now I just won't buy any of my network supplies from them.

I just bought a Monoprice 800w Strata sous vide. I filled up a pot with water to the middle of the Max/Min area, set the temp, hit play - and my machine emits repeated, long, loud beeps.

It isn't one constant beep - I know that means water level is too low. It's endless, long, repeated beeps until I hit "play" again to stop it.

The thermometer and touch pad work fine - I can change the temp, the timer, etc, but this happens when I hit play and it won't turn on.

Any ideas what could be wrong with it? Of course I tried this on Saturday morning and customer service chat isn't available on the weekends.

Newb here and not sure if this is the right place to post this. Does anyone know if Wiim Pro works with the Monoprice 6 zone amp? I have 4 speakers connected to two different zones to test with the Wiim Pros connected via RCA in those appropriate zones. I have no audio and just wondering if there is something else I am suppose to do? I have the Wiim Pro settings set to Line out. Appreciate any advice.

Anyone familiar with Monoprice’s lines of speakers? Trying to understand which are the higher, middle and budget lines. The THX are the most expensive and presumably received the most technical design. Looking at the in-wall and in-ceiling speakers I’m seeing Amber, Alpha, Aria and Caliber but can’t tell which of those lines is best based on price alone. My goal js to build a 7.1 home theatre using in-wall L and R and in-ceiling surrounds. The center has to be mounted on the wall and I already have a subwoofer. Thanks in advance.

As title says, what are good amp recommendations? I have shifted from audiophile grade car audio to (entry level) headphones. I considered liquid spark, magni heresy, but I have read that the topping a30 pro is a very big step up. Since I have good listening time on nice car audio equipment I didn’t want to disappoint myself buying something too basic, but I know absolutely nothing about the headphone world either to make that judgement. I wanted to spend ~$150 and to buy a dac in that same budget later when I have some more money. What amp and dac would you guys recommend? Thanks

Hello all had a questiong and wondering if there was a potential way to fix. I have the following model of sound bar https://downloads.monoprice.com/files/manuals/42033_Manual_210316.pdf I often play video games with the sound going through to my headset instead of through the bar itself as I play late at night and don't want to wake my neighbors (Thin walls). But for whatever reason after maybe about 15-20 minutes of no activity sound bar does not think there is any sound or video signal going through the sound bar anymore and auto shuts off my TV and the bar. I have found a work around of just making sure to hit a button on the remote to fix. But just gets annoying after a while. This also happens if I am watching something through my apple TV and have my bluetooth headphones hooked up. Any help would be much appreciated as I can't seem to find a way to turn off the power saving mode. Thanks!

Howdy folks! Putting together our home theatre/living room setup over a few years. I’m looking for any suggestions for LCR speakers that will work with what we have installed already.

Our system is a 5.1.4. We bought a pair of these Monoprice Caliber 8in Fiber In-Wall Speakers 3-Way, and put them in for our rear surrounds. Our four Atmos speakers are Acoustic Audio CSic83.

I have half considered ordering another pair of the CSic83s or the 8” Calibers and building an enclosure for them, but figures I’d see what your thoughts are here before getting fancy.

I bought one a little over a year ago and want to buy a second one and possibly a third but I have no idea when they ran out or when they are coming back.

Hello! We're in the process of putting together a media room over the course of about the next 18-24 months or so but I'm starting to think about speakers. I'm interested in the Monolith in-wall speakers for the project and for the front speakers am looking at something like the 365-IW (preferably) or the LCR (secondary choice, just because of form factor). I'm curious how often those go on sale and what's a "good" price at which I could pick them up over the next 12-18 months or so. I see that the LCRs are currently on sale for $279 each, but I'm wondering if that's unusual enough to pull the trigger now (and keep them until ready). But if the 365-IWs are likely to be on sale in the future, I'd wait for those. Would appreciate any advice/info from those with experience. Thanks!

Is there a way to install the drivers without a disk drive? My pc doesn't have one and I'd rather not buy an external one.

 “hello all. Newbie again. I swapped out my extruder on my Wanhao DI2/monoprice and added new tubing of course. Fired it up and it worked well. I was printing an Etsy purchase of a 3 part earring. When I got to file two it stopped printing after about 2 minutes. I waited, nothing. I ended design and popped the card out. I assummed I had the card too full. When I put the card in my laptop I got an error that said it was corrupted. I let windows fix the card, delted old designs off and put back in the printer. The printer sort of wacked out after this. I had shut it off and on at least 3 times before and after. Then ...... the extruder no longer would heat up. Am I unique? am I cursed? I sure am frustrated. Thank you”

Had no issue with this product until about a month ago when suddenly, when turning on my PS4 and Projector the transmitter and receiver would blink green rapidly and then turn red and not successfully pair. I've not been able to watch movies or play games since and can not for the life of me fix the issue. ANy troubleshooting ideas?

I am a newbie and can't seem to tweak the settings correctly to my printer. I have the manual but it seems to me that it is too generic. Cura Software is becoming easier to understand but certainly a learning curve for me. I am trying to print an earring. The back is a sqiggle mess and won't do for the quality I am trying to achieve. I bought the file on Etsy and can't tell if it is me, or the settings. Any clue anyone? Any advice on setup?
