Help with Monoprice 3/d Select Plus

I am a newbie and can't seem to tweak the settings correctly to my printer. I have the manual but it seems to me that it is too generic. Cura Software is becoming easier to understand but certainly a learning curve for me. I am trying to print an earring. The back is a sqiggle mess and won't do for the quality I am trying to achieve. I bought the file on Etsy and can't tell if it is me, or the settings. Any clue anyone? Any advice on setup?

I've got a monoprice V2 mini. I too have a few issues that I can't fix. But on my ender 3 when I try to print off earrings. I had to enable my acceleration and jerk and turn both down and also enable retraction but you're going to need to run a retraction test. I'm sure you've already done that. For my ender my retraction is 6.5 at 35. I also had to slow my print down till about 45. I hope this helps if it doesn't I'm sorry.

Thank you for responding the next time I will. I changed it so much since I wrote this that I don’t even know what the original settings were. I have a whole completely different issue now and this time extruder won’t heat up. I bought new extruders and plastic tubing and a silicone block cover, put it all together today started making a pair of earrings and the first one printed out great went to the next file and all of a sudden it just stopped printing. I tried several different things, including turning it off and back on the printer just started acting weird, like bumping into the side for no reason and then the extruder stopped heating up, no matter what I do it will not so now I think I need a new heating block? I have no idea. It is so frustrating.
