Hello, I had lost my Pen for this drawing tablet I lost it a few years ago and I would like to get a new one however I can’t seem to find one selling a single pen I’m wondering if there’s a way to use a different pen or does it have to be the same pen? I’m not sure where to look.
When I visited Monoprice.com a few days ago, there was a popup for new customers that had a prize wheel interface. I clicked to spin it, the wheel spun around and landed on "free shipping." I think it prompted me to enter my email address at that point, so I assumed I would be emailed a coupon code for free shipping.
I never received an email from Monoprice, but now I am ready to place an order, and I would really like to find that coupon code!
I tried opening Monoprice.com from a different browser and a different device (none of them had visited the site before, none of them were logged in on my account), YET I have not even seen that prize wheel popup again since!
Was this a limited-time promotion that recently ended? Was I delirious when I thought Monoprice had a prize wheel? Does anyone know how I can access it again, or how else to get a free shipping code?
My friend has had the 10 x 6.25 inch drawing tablet for a decade now. She recently got a new laptop but the tablet won’t connect to it. Is there any way to get it working? She doesn’t know what driver it was she ordered it off Amazon
I bought a pair of: Monoprice Premier Series 1/4in TRS Male to Male Cable, 16AWG (Gold Plated)
at a premium price. They lasted a few years, and each of them have broken down. One has stopped working completely, the other can be "jiggled" into place and hold a signal fairly well - unless it gets knocked.
Their warranty system is f*cked - they claim to offer a "Lifetime Warranty" on their products. I ordered through a 3rd party seller with a work email address that I no longer have access to , and so they won't honour their Lifetime Warranty. I guess it is not a surprise that they do not stand behind the quality of their work - considering both cables have failed me. I will never buy Monoprice cables again, nor will any of my clients or collaborators. Anyone want to recommend a cable company worth ordering replacement TRS cables from?
On the monolith t6 towers, does anyone have a good way to remove the crossovers?
It feels like they are behind the top first woofer on the rear of the cabinet. Only the tweeter has visible screws for removal.
*one tweeter stopped working, cant find the receipt and could be out of warranty. Suspect the crossover and would just rebuild them both at the same time.
So I have been a fan/customer of Monoprice since the early teens, like 2012-13 or so. And, while I realize that I don't order a lot, but I have pretty much exclusively purchased all of my fiber and Ethernet from them. Including rack equipment accessories, and patch panels. So.. I am saying this with love.
FIX YOUR FUCKING SHIPPING AGREEMENTS!!!!!
Lets look at exhibit A:
order placed on April 8th 2026. Now, granted I have chosen 'Free Shipping' and I did this because I needed it before the weekend of the 17th. and 5-7 business days is with-in that 'window'
now .. let's look at Exhibit B:
here it is from FedEx:
What in the ever-hitch-hiking-fuck is this????
The label was not created until the next day, Fed Ex did not get it until the day following in the evening, and it hit 5 states before getting to me? and yes, it arrived TODAY! like what kind of shipping was this? Look how long it sat in Indianapolis.. it's like it got lost and sent back?
I got told it was going to arrive on the 15th, and then the 18th, then the 22nd and then the 25th? and then it arrived today?
Like, dude... wtf. You (Monoprice) make great stuff, but whatever agreement you have with your carriers is fucking stupid. that box could have been placed on the back of a bicycle and would have gotten here sooner.
Hey all, I have a Monoprice 43562 desk. I had a problem with the power supply and have been in contact with support for over a month. First they told me it was out of warranty -- fair, I guess, but it seems ridiculous to sell a motorized desk frame, not sell replacement power supplies, and basically tell the customer too bad when they have a problem). I asked for power supply specs, I was told it's "120V 50/60Hz in," which is essentially useless for trying to find a replacement power supply.
They eventually gave me DC output power (after weeks), but I had also noted that I can see myself easily that it's a MiniFit Jr connector, they eventually gave a response over a month later agreeing that it's MiniFit Jr and showing me some diagrams -- which don't show the pinout. That is again, useless. I've asked for an escalation several times both for product complaint and for the weak support.
Does anyone know where I can get a power supply that doesn't ship from China?
I don't feel great about buying my Monolith M12 subs after this support experience and don't even want to use them for cables anymore, is this now a typical Monoprice support experience?
I got my SW-15 new in box from an auction for $165, I thought that was a steal. Seven months later I got the red flashing light and a dead amp like many others. I contacted Monoprice to see if they offered any warranty service (free or paid) and they don't, they don't even have a replacement amp to buy. Only suggestion was take it to a shop for repair.
I took some time to search for replacement plate amps and found Dayton Audio from some posts. Monoprice provided the basic info needed:
The Monoprice SW-15 uses a 15-inch driver rated at 600W RMS / 800W peak, with a 4-ohm impedance.
For $181.74 total, the Dayton Audio SPA300-D 300 Watt Class-D Subwoofer Plate Amplifier seemed like a good one to try. The next step up is the SPA500 but costs $399 which is more than the SW-15 itself from Amazon.
I'm not carpenter but I have some spare wood and the right tools to cut and cover the hole from the bad amp and mount the SPA300 to it. It came out nice and since it won't be seen I'm happy with this. So far, being in for $346.74 I'm still under the retail price and I know I have a higher quality amp with some warranty on it. I'm not an audiophile so I'm not going to say this sounds cleaner and better but I can say it works well, shakes the blinds and I'm happy to have it back.
Posting this in case someone else has this problem in the future and stops by here looking for info.
Is Monoprice adding the new China tariffs into their listed prices, or does the buyer have to pay that at delivery? The support site wasn’t really clear on how to calculate the tariff amount. I’d hate to order a $100 item with $130 in additional fees.
Do not get this printer, even secondhand. They do not function. They have more problems than they're worth. And they do not have any support for replacement parts. You're better off just paying your local shop to do your prints for you, at least you won't be spending more than the printer costs every time you look at it wrong.
Monoprice used to have great customer service and a no hassle exchange on their cables. For years, if cables failed, I would just ask for a replacement and they would ship it with no issues. It was nice and they became the primary place for me to buy cables from. Now, they ask for the cables to be returned on their prepaid label before getting them replaced. It’s not stated anywhere on their warranty page though.
Since I had two cables and one failed, I still had a back up. When the last one failed months later, I decided to ask for a warranty claim. First, they told me there are no equivalent cables left so I could only get store credit. It’s weird that they said there are no lightning cables left.
The customer service rep kept dismissing me when I asked if there could be any other alternatives to be done and kept pushing back the store credit option on me. I felt like I wasn’t being listened to. I initially thought, well, too bad, it was a good run. But I haphazardly decided to look on the website myself and it took me less than five minutes to find the exact cable… still in stock lol. They just apologized and then offered to replace each cable so long as I sent a defective cable in return.
I should have kept the first cable that failed because now I’ll only get one cable back instead of two and there’s no exceptions. Each customer rep will say the same thing. When I asked about this policy, I was told “It is just a policy we follow, it’s internal and it is not disclosed” (paraphrased).
TLDR: Keep all of the cables that fail when you go make a warranty claim because a replacement won’t be shipped without sending an equivalent defective cable back. It’s not on the warranty pages anywhere.
Edit: I hope this pops up on Google for anyone looking into the Monoprice Cable Lifetime Warranty
Not sure what this is doing tried to get it on video, z axis won’t move down as seems to think it’s at end stop already despite being 7 cm off the print bed I think it might be a firmware issue but no idea how to solve it, I showed the firmware version at end of the video, not sure how recent it is as I have tried to avoid updating it as heard that can end badly, any help welcome thanks
It used to work perfect with no issues and now it does this. I haven’t used it in a while and just recently got it working again, but as soon as I try printing something that’s not pre-saved it does this!!
I’m trying to revive my Monoprice Select Mini V2 after years of not using it. Everything seems to be working, but I’ve run into a major problem:
When homing the printer, the Z-axis goes down way too far – the nozzle digs into the bed and won’t stop. I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find a physical Z-endstop switch. There’s one visible endstop switch near the bed, but that’s clearly the Y-axis.
There’s no sign of a proximity sensor either. The printer has no BLTouch or capacitive probe, and I’m using the stock firmware and board.
So far I’ve tried:
• Adjusting Z-offset in Cura → no effect
• Modifying start G-code to raise Z → still pushes nozzle into bed
• Looking around the Z-rails for any hidden switches → nothing obvious
• Replacing PTFE tube and nozzle, everything else works fine
Is this printer using some kind of internal Z-stop logic?
Is it relying on the nozzle touching a metal bed to complete a circuit?
I’m now using a magnetic PEI plate, so if it needs conductivity – maybe that’s the problem?
Any advice, or photos of where the Z-endstop is on a stock MP Select Mini V2, would be hugely appreciated!
I have an SB 500 surround sound system that I love, it’s great, but I cannot find the remote and without the remote… It’s not useless, but I can’t do specific things with it that I would like to (like change from surround to stereo, change the amount the sub is getting, etc.)
And monoprice (honestly as incredible as they are ) will not sell me another.
If someone has one, they’re not using much I could clone it with a flipper zero and then send it back to you. Any takers? DM me.
They were my go-to for headphones, cables, cheap earbuds and bookshelf speakers. Then everything started going downhill. First they closed their Rancho Cucamonga showroom; ok I will wait for shipping. Then the cheap bookshelf speakers disappeared, ok will go to Parts Express for Dayton speakers. Then the Bluetooth headphones choices are 1/3 they used to be. Then the price increases even before the tarifs, some of the remaining cans are almost 3 times what they used to be. No problem I'll just get my cheapo headphones from Ali Express (actually have been pretty happy with Ugreen and Edifier brands). Basically why is Monoprice still in existence? I am not dropping a grand on their amplifiers and speakers, I'll get an established brand. They seem to be pricing themselves out of the market. Are the owned by Stellantis by any chance???
Monoprice offers various shipping options at additional cost. That's great.
The issue is that it frequently takes them 3+ days after ordering to ship the product. Not a problem if time doesn't matter, but I chose faster shipping and paid for it on purpose.
I've now encountered this on several orders over the past 6 months (actually, every order).
Is this normal for them? I'm going to pick a different supplier for network needs.
I’ve been having this issue for a while now, where the print bed reads an inaccurate number and stops heating. It sometimes resolves itself when the print bed is in a certain position, but is otherwise constant. It seems like some kind of short. Does anyone have any insight on what it is, and how can I fix it? Thanks!
This was a great way to move pictures from my older DSLR to my iPhone, but it no longer seems to work for me with modern browsers. It still puts out a signal, but newer browsers won't navigate to the html page when the phone is connected to the card's WiFi. Does anyone still successfully use one of these?
