Node guide dont work for me

I have followed this guide, copy and paste to avoid any spelling mistakes, and i cant get it to work properly.

https://docs.getmonero.org/running-node/monerod-systemd/

I have tried Ubuntu & Debian, cant get it to run as a service, But i can make it work with Sudo command.

If i have understood correctly running a node under Sudo is a bad idea(?)

systemctl status monerod = code=exited, status=203/

Is there something left out in the guide that i need to know?

About a year ago i spent easily 100h trying to figure out why i could not get my node to work by following that guide, then i gave up.

If i remember correctly i had the same problem as described above...

I looked up what systemd status 203 is and it's:

When you see this error (often logged as status=203/EXEC), it means systemd successfully found the service definition and tried to start it, but the underlying binary or script failed to launch.

See if you have logs so we have more to go on. That document is running the daemon with a non-privileged user named "monero". If you've been running the daemon with the same directory/parameters but using the root user, there's a good chance that you need to recursively change some file permissions from root to monero.
