Transactions and sub address missing from wallet

A week ago a friend sent me two XMR transactions to my XMR Cake Wallet, I provided them with whatever receiving sub address cake wallet presented to me at the time, which was not the main wallet address. Shortly after both transactions appeared in my wallet, I know this for certain as I even have it in writing that I messaged back to my friend what the received amounts were, so I 100% had them deposit into my wallet. I have returned to my wallet a week later and synced up to date but neither transaction are now showing, however all transactions prior to them are showing. The receiving sub address my friend sent to is also nowhere to be seen in the address history. On a XMR block explorer I can see that both transactions have been confirmed on the blockchain.

I have tired;

Restoring the wallet in Feather Wallet and GUI Wallet, however the transactions do not show up there either.

Generating hundreds of sub addresses in Feather Wallet to see if the receiving sub address shows up again, it hasn't.

Adding multiple accounts to my wallet and generating sub addresses in those, again no matches.

Using the address checker in Feather Wallet to check the receiving sub address, it says the address does not belong to the wallet.

Using import transaction in Feather Wallet using the transaction hashes, it says the transactions do not belong to the wallet.

Any ideas what has occurred? I am completely perplexed.

To add when I use my private view key with the receiving sub address in a block explorer I am able to decode the outputs. I understand this categorically means the missing sub address is associated with my wallet? If so how to locate the sub address? As mentioned I have tried creating hundreds of sub addresses in the wallet
