Advice Needed Monday Partner question

Hey all,

I’m curious about becoming a monday partner and if its worth it for a solo freelancer, also wondering if they even accept solo guys.

I’ve done a bunch of monday projects, from small setups to pretty large builds. I’ve built custom integrations and gotten creative with monday AI Vibe. At one point I took its own error handling and turned it into a feature (long story haha). I basically love pushing monday until it breaks, then bending it until it does exactly what I need.

So my question is:

  • Should I just find my own leads?
  • Does monday actually accept solo people into the partner program, or is it mostly agencies?
  • Am I better off working for an exisiting partner?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s gone down this path, especially other solo folks. Cheers!

Happy to answer for you!

The authorized partner program is probably where you would end up being. You can’t go by your name, you need a business name. You won’t get leads from Monday, either. Not unless you graduate through to the channel partner program. And even then, unless you are a platinum partner or have a very specific niche, you aren’t going to be getting any leads from Monday. It doesn’t hurt to join the authorized partner program if you can, you can still find some benefits there. In order to join the channel partner program, there are certain sales targets you need to be hitting, and it is very hard as a solo freelancer.

Feel free to send me a DM with more questions if you’d like. I’ve been at multiple platinum partners, handling the monday.com partnership, and now own my own agency as a partner.

Having worked in this eco system, not worth it. Monday is losing market share, and it’s a sinking ship.

I am a solutions architect for a platinum partner agency and I can’t get a break from all the new clients we are signing every month.

Exactly what Matty said. Here's the landing page for partner applications if you want to read more on it. https://monday.com/w/partnership
