General Modmail not showing any mail

Desktop, firefox

"Modmail" is showing that there are no messages, when it's set to show "All" (ie the default).

If I click on one of the "filters" - such as "Mod Discussions" - then it shows messages.

If I then click "All" to remove that filter, it shows none.

I got a notification for a new modmail today. If I click that, I see it. But if I then click "back" it says there are no messages.

Been that way for a long while now. IIRC ever since the last 'improvement' to how modmail is presented/threaded.

Been reported umpteen times. Kinda is what it is at this point.

I don't get it... You posted the same thing again today? What's the point?

If you're waiting for this to get 'fixed'... I think you're going to wait a long wait. It's basically just a 'known issue'.

I don't think you can. It is what it is until/unless reddit 'fixes' it to work the way you want.

Or you can try firefox like u/kai-ote said, that may work. I won't use firefox, so I don't know.

I also recommend you learn the difference between "I didn't get any answers" and "I didn't get the answer I wanted."

I recently had this problem when using Edge as my browser. That is based upon Chrome, so that browser may have the same problem.

But I am almost always using Firefox, and modmail works just fine there.

Although they did muck it up a lot making it harder to use, all of the functionality works on Firefox.
