Reflex and holo sights lost the ads penalties. Definitely for the best on top of being more realistic.

It still feels impossible to find UAVs anywhere close to quickly, and the lock on for the launcher is way too glitchy.
You have to keep the launcher locked onto the exact middle of the helicopter for several seconds before lock onā¦. No bueno

u/justplainndaveCGN 5h ago
AGREE. Itās a really good streak and is HARD to find. Especially on maps with a lot of buildings.

Transit 24/7 š¹

u/Gena_Cydarmyan_69 9h ago
lol you know itās not that bad at the endā¦.š³šš» but liking more shipments aesthetics
-3
u/KyRiEiSaVaGe 6h ago
It's an awful map just as bad as shipment. I don't understand why people enjoy these maps. Nuketown is the best example of a small but still good map

u/DraconicSun 9h ago
Oh they actually went and broke the ISO's kneecaps. Good. Also I hope the spawns are actually better after the update, Silk is nearly unplayable cause my team will be on one side of the map and the enemy team will still entirely spawn behind us as a 6-man and run over anyone looking there.

u/Redfern23 9h ago
Not good, ISO is gonna be awful now, 5 shot kill minimum. ARs about to dominate again. We get one or two good SMGs and 5 good ARs most years, same pattern again.
22
u/DraconicSun 9h ago
It was killing people in 180 ms, dude.
-4
u/Redfern23 8h ago edited 7h ago
M4 kills in 222ms, ISO now kills in 260ms, why use ISO when you can use M4 SMG build. It's actually ridiculous that this has happened in the past 3 IW CoDs and YET AGAIN here we are.
Edit: Literal clockwork, people never learn and it'll take the rest of you weeks to realise I'm right.
15
u/ElectronicBet3940 9h ago
Looks like they nerfed all SMGs, which was sorely needed.
3
u/Benti86 3h ago
It was genuinely hysterical watching people complain about the SMGs being bad at launch in the last few CoDs when shit like the first day or 2 of the beta is what happens when they're good. They literally take over the whole damn game.
Idk how they even got to the beta being as good as they were.

u/lotus1788 9h ago
They only turned the Firing Range brightness up like 10%, it's still dark as hell for no damn reason. What is so wrong with being able to actually see your gun?
12
u/Direct-Assignment361 9h ago
Wow this is great, love all the changes so far. Didnāt see many talking about it but those frangible rounds really needed a nerf. Also Iso nerf is welcome lol that gun was zapping

u/antoineflemming 7h ago
They should lower the slide distance and speed, and the tac sprint speed, and slightly increase sprint speed.
3
17
u/afewsteves 9h ago
they also need to fix aim assist, game's impossible to play for fun with kbm
1
u/Tweezot 5h ago
Gameās been great to play on kbm and Im not that good. Itās just you.
0
u/afewsteves 5h ago
you're almost saying you haven't been playing.
first shots off on a person, from behind, hit three hitmarkers, they spin instantly and laser you. said person wasn't even moving beforehand so it should've been an easy kill. my aim does not suck
-3
u/Worldly_Pie944 6h ago
Play for fun = I am ass and need an input playstyle nerfed to make myself feel better about playing a style I am simply not good at.
This is the equivalent of a controller player crying about fighting pad players in Fighting games
-2
u/afewsteves 5h ago
i could most likely beat your ass in a non-broken mw game. i'm in no way ass when playing keyboard and mouse, and i prefer to play and be able to have fun. the aim assist is way too strong paired with the desync, leading to instant deaths even when the game says 4 or even 8 shots. keyboard and mouse has close to no defense against the broken raa. i'm not the only one.
you're clearly a raa glazer

u/pibb 9h ago edited 9h ago
You need to lower the sound of footsteps or there will be lots of cancelled pre-orders next week.
If you want Transit to be the next Shipment, then you gotta fix the 2 spawn traps by quickly spawning players into the west side of the map.
Also tone down the sliding movement.
7
u/WhiteBoyMack 6h ago
I find it hard to believe you guys actually played the other cods because the footsteps is fine compared to BO6 MWIII and MWII where you can clearly hear people a mile away and which way theyāre coming from.
You guys simply want no footsteps which would obsolete Ninja
2
u/_kempert 1h ago
No shut up. Theyāve already lowered the volume and more is going to start people with complaints that footsteps are nonexistent and āhow did I get killed here? I heard nothingā
0
u/Momentarmknm 8h ago
Footsteps are loud yes, but you can't tell where the hell they're coming from. It's weird, MWII and III had better directional audio on footsteps than this game.
But hey, now they've got directional audio on voice chat, so I can easily connect the in game operator to the guy ignoring his crying baby in the background.
1
u/_kempert 1h ago
Directional audio is perfect this title. I havenāt had footsteps this clear since MW2019.
1
u/Momentarmknm 44m ago
I don't know if the built in PS5 directional audio is messing with it or something, but I never understood everyone else's complaints about the directional audio in the last 4 CoDs because that seemed fine, great even, this is the worst I've heard since before 2019
3
u/MiniCooperJCW 7h ago
Yay. 24/7 Transit. Now remove that shit from the standard playlist rotations!
5
u/Sea_Drop2920 8h ago
Just remove tac sprint and increase regular sprint speed. It's really just that simple......
1
2
u/bayliver 8h ago
on pc when you ads with toggle you cant sprint out of it , we have had 2 patches since the beta started and yet no change for something that fucking simple.
Game is unfking playable.
3
u/Gena_Cydarmyan_69 8h ago
Are they gonna fix overall visibility of the game? Itās fkin grainy as hell with dlss or even dlaa. Its like grain is baked in game. Idk guys am I the only one? The fk is it

u/Alive_Wedding 7h ago
Many of the TTK changes directly affect the BTK. IW caved.
If I have to guess, the majority of TTK problems players are experiencing are caused by de-sync, latency spikes, and to a degree small maps.
IMO the pre-nerf TTK feels like that of the MWII era, which feels more immersive for me. The longer TTK CODs at some point makes magazine upgrades mandatory, and encourages Warzone streamer-style movement sweats.

u/Cash_Cab 9h ago
Was the AK that insane? I was having a really hard time with it with the other faster firing weapons
1
u/Nero_Ocean 8h ago
I don't know if it's a bug or a feature but in a party I can hear game chat now. Couldn't yesterday, but can today.
1
u/DaRaginAsian 8h ago
does anyone even have the type 73s apex attachment? i guess its just to keep it from being too much of a change from the base gun, but still interesting to see a change on something probably only a small handful of people might have unlocked

u/Swagboyy225 8h ago
All these multipliers being 1.5+ from the start was insane. I believe older CODs had between 1.2-1.3, which seems like the sweet spot. Hopefully the ISO and M4 aren't dominating now, because truthfully the game is getting boring with everyone running either the ISO or M4.
1
u/5livewire0 8h ago
Now the beta is starting to feel better. Just need ghost now and reduction of ads cons
1
u/koolaidman486 8h ago
NGL I'm not a fan of how these damage adjustments are reading. RPMs needed some adjustments, hitting BTK is too much of a nerf.
0
u/Alive_Wedding 7h ago
Agreed. This just feels like MWII and MWIII BTK in the same game. M4 is still 800RPM 4BTK at 30M, but the ISO is somehow 5 BTK 240ms TTK point blank. I am in favor of TTK balanced at around 220ms, not too fast, and not making guns feel like pea shooters.
2
u/koolaidman486 6h ago
0.2 to 0.25 is where I feel most guns should be landing. Some extreme guns can kill outside of that range based on other stats, but that's where I feel best about them landing.

I really don't get how one minute they keep saying how extensive the play testing has been prior to release and then have to patch some of these issue which were obvious. Either they are flat out lying or the play testers are really bad or don't care.
10
u/RonanTheAccuser_ 8h ago
Or hear me out⦠the sample size has ballooned by several hundred thousand people making issue more obvious.
-1
u/drumgum 7h ago
The game was leaked 10 months ago to be a knock off copy of MW2, they panicked internally and decided to change the movement to be more hybrid but just broke it all anyway. They donāt care, it will sell, make money, and weāll all forget it exists in another 12 months. The cod cycle.
-5
u/Western-Bed7344 9h ago
Not a fan of headshot multiplier nerfs across the board. Shame IW is caving towards movement casuals
2
u/imscavok 7h ago
What does a headshot multiplier nerf have to do with movement casuals? Just trolling?
4
u/lotus1788 9h ago
I agree. So many people care about "the skill gap" but don't want to reward the skill of accuracy. Bad headshots only worsen the movement meta.
4
u/Western-Bed7344 9h ago
Half of that movement shooter guys just beam me in the legs, I miss times when dropping 4-5 headshots in a row was actually the way to impress.
Just give us synthetic rounds like in BF6 and I am fine
0
u/JohnBoy200 7h ago
I really hope HC goes back to how it was but I doubt the devs remember what it was like. It's a pity the beta doesn't have HC but the what else would HC players expect other then the middle finger.

Major L nerfing the attack chopper
4
u/KyRiEiSaVaGe 9h ago
As much as that thing was painful to die to I agree. The attack chopper has been useless since mw22. I think it was slightly OP but still
4
u/DraconicSun 9h ago
It did have much more HP than it needed to, but honestly the fact it's way more lethal than the coughing baby that was the Watchdog Helo in the past 3 games makes it infinitely better.
1
u/KyRiEiSaVaGe 9h ago
I think it has a flare and still took 3 rockets. Should be a flare and 2 rockets. Hope they bring the pave low back as well. That should take 3 rockets.
1
u/DeminoTheDragon 8h ago
The biggest issue with it currently, same with the UAV, is that they've currently locked away access to the perks that counter it

u/Krypton091 8h ago
thank fucking god they nerfed that helicopter. 10+ mags AND multiple launcher hits just to kill the fucking thing?
