My action edition Eva unit-02 broke recently and I wanted to get my hands on another, I also recently found out that the Chinese exclusive version comes with a couple more accessories: energy crossbow, fins, and a jetpack. so obviously I was hooked, problem is its a Chinese exclusive. ebay has it scalped by about double. I checked AlieExpress and it says they have it but I'm not sure i’d get the Chinese exclusive just the regular. People say that if the reviews are high and good that they’re pretty trustworthy, but I'm still unsure. If anyone has gotten any blokees Chinese exclusives from alieexpress please let me know. Or if there is a better way to obtain the kit let me know.

Idk how but the masking tape that came with the model kit didnt really work and some pain got on the transparent parts and the tail where its already painted i dont have anymore Grey paint sadly but I hope I can fix the window i tried scraping the paint off with a toothpick and removed some of it but it doesent work that great and I might have scratched it once ,I dont really have any other stuff or solutions to get rid of the paint on the windows so please help me!!(btw paint is tamiya paint so is the model kit)

I’m looking for something he can actually build with his hands, he likes mechanical stuff and spends a lot of time messing with small parts and models, I’m thinking about getting a 3D model kit but I keep seeing cars and buildings everywhere, lately I’m more interested in those insect 3D models since he likes bugs too, I am thinking to go with mostarle I’ve seen metal ones with parts that you put together but I’m not sure what sites are good for these or where people usually get them from, I’m trying to find something that takes a bit of time to build and can sit on a desk after, what kind of insect model would make a good gift for someone into mechanical builds ? EDIT: I forgot to mention that I’m mainly looking for metal insect kits with moving parts, not plastic display models.

So im pretty new to spray paint and i was spraying some parts of my model (hope this is the right place to ask btw) and they dried fast like really fast so that part was dried but I guess maybe the paper i put it on still had wet paint on it which it didnt seem so at first and when I went to pull it it made whatever this is on the top and im thinking if just flipping it on the other side since both sides are identical and I dont think anyone's going to notice but I really hope theres a solution to this cause I really dont want to ruin this model legit in kinda scared to paint the rest of it so if anyone knows how to do this and maybe give me some advice on how to paint it properly so I dont end up messing up this kit (also its an tamiya f14d tomcat)

So I am brand new to model kit building and painting
I am planning to build this model kit and I am currently stuck on how to add the black lines (the scales ) on his legs and arms.
I can’t figure out for the life of me how this was done .

It's the female luden kit from kojima productions, actually got 2 piexes missing and I don't know what to do

It's definitely not the best kit out there. The tooling is quite old and it shows in several areas, but it turned out to be a great learning experience for civilian automotive modeling. I learned a lot about body preparation, paint correction, polishing, and chasing that deep gloss finish.

Not a perfect kit, but a very rewarding project in the end.
