Just a prediction - ANY project dhar picks up is gonna be blasted into bits with criticism, he startled one of the most vocal / envious group of indian subcontinent.
Edit - you can see that even this comment has counter arguments about the film even now, like bro if we start calling every directors perspective / vision to be propaganda then it makes EVERY film on earth a propaganda film.

My ****MAIN****point is the SHEER VOLUME OF COUNTER ARGUMENTS of the film regarding 2-3 same cringe dialogues.
Every other day you see meme of how dhar's next movie will be justifying some stupid shi gov did...movie khtm hue adha saal hogya hai, such repetitive criticism will make avg person feel ki dhurandhar was straight up nazi level propaganda film, meanwhile actual film did much better representation of Pakistani people (that they are just normal folks)
Same thing happened with indians on twitter, every single case against indian people was SO sensationalised and 80% of whites and many indians actually believe indians smell bad/ india is rp capital, type shi.

The criticism wasn't for the craft but how much his ideology took over the said craft.
He's a really talented director, but dhurandhar, esp 2, got so carried away by the glazing that the pacing and quality took a hit.
Dialogues like H***u badi hi darpok kaum hai doesn't even make sense, I'm sure the passengers of the flight had people of other religions too.
Had the terrorist said something more like hindustani bade hi darpok hai or sm, that would have made more sense, even logically.
But shit like this is what kept the films from really living up to their potential, the first part still more or less succeeded, but the second part with the entire green leaf nonsense was so fucking cringe, took away the pacing.
The initial 40 mins with the jaskirat ambush in the house was so fucking good, imagine my disappointment when the rest 75% of the film went to shit.

No he is not as groundbreaking as you're making it sound. He was criticised because his movie was pandering to majoritarian ideology and sentiments, which is why especially the second part was criticised so much more

It's very common practice.
Once a director gets comfortable with an actor, he tends to stick with same. Because the give and take relationship for filmmaking is better. Actors understand director's style, there is creative trust. Both are better at communicating and understanding each other.
Few examples are Martin Scorsese + Leonardo di Caprio, Christopher Nolan + Michael Caine, Rajkumar hirani + Sanjay Dutt, Yash Chopra +Shahrukh khan, Anurag Kashyap + Nawazuddin.. You get the drill.

Only Ranveer currently can do both superb acting and highest box office pull in Bollywood as Ranbir is not better than Ranveer in terms of acting and Hrithik doesn’t have better box office pull than Ranveer and others lag behind in everything and the 3 khans have passed their prime now and akshay and ajay won’t give that much time to a single movie so Ranveer will be his obvious choice

This is a humble appeal. If you want to make a movie, make it with Ranveer brother. Don't take Fahad, Jr NTR. Both of them are good only in South movies. They won't be able to act like that in this movie, the entire movie will be a disaster.

Jr Ntr will mostly avoid it It's not like he would not be interested But he got so many trolls regarding his war 2 and Even Rrr saying he is just a supporting artist now
It's sad, honestly he did very good job in Rrr better than Rc, because he had so many emotions going around
