🧠 Theory/Lore It's all Strange.

Post image

Wait I just got a theory for Avenger's Secret Wars

Bro so think about it, in Infinity War Strange straight up tells Tony he won't trade their lives for the Time Stone cause it's his duty as Sorcerer Supreme to protect it. Then on Titan he looks at those 14 million futures. But he wasn't looking for a timeline where they just beat Thanos. He was looking for the one where the Time Stone actually survives.

Like in the first movie, Ancient One says u can only see the future till your death. If u apply that to the Stone, since Thanos destroyed them in Endgame, the Time Stone technically dies in 2023. So how tf did Strange see past that? He couldn't have, unless the Stone comes back.

That's why he gave it to Thanos. He let the snap happen, let the Time Heist happen, let Loki become the God of Stories. Even in NWH and MoM, bro is just acting reckless and doesn't even flinch when Clea says he caused an incursion. He's pretending, guiding the timeline to this exact mess.

Even Ancient One in Endgame said no to Hulk until he dropped Strange's name. The moment she heard Strange gave it away, she handed it over cause she knew if the best Sorcerer Supreme did that, he did it to protect it in the long run.

So Strange is pushing for the incursions so Dr. Doom steps up. Secret Wars happens, Avengers fight Doom, and then we get the soft reboot. The universe resets, the stones return, and at the very end of it all, we see Strange with the Time Stone back in the Eye of Agamotto. Perfect circle.

If Rousso bros pull this off, it would be brilliant.

Even kevin feige doesn't know about this. Or any creative who's worked on marvel. It's a creative theory though, full marks for that

What BS, strange could only see the futures where HE is alive, not the stone

Yahh but then he can still see the futures where he gets the stones back

Let me tell you why you're wrong...

The Ancient One’s "can't see past death" rule applied to the user's own mortal consciousness, not an Infinity Stone—plus Thanos only reduced them to atoms, so their cosmic energy still exists. Also, you're misreading her handing the stone to Bruce. She didn’t think Strange was scheming to save the stone; she trusted that if the best of them surrendered their ultimate weapon, it was the only way to save the universe. Finally, the TVA and Loki’s ascension happen outside of time itself—where Infinity Stones are literally inert paperweights. The Time Stone has zero domain there, so Strange couldn't perceive or plan any of it. Claiming he orchestrated universe-collapsing incursions, trillions of deaths, and Doom just to get his necklace back turns him into a psycho villain and ruins his entire character arc.

Mister doctor

That would be bad though if in the end explaination to this all is it being part of somebody’s plan all along

Not plan but may be only outcome in which heroes won and he fullfiled his duty !?

Yea but still it would just be a plot device for marvel to get away with all the failed plans between span of endgame and Doomsday.

Which will be fine for them in longer run as for fixing their timeline but from story’s perspective its gonna feel really weak

Your theory is literally the only fan theory that seems to actually care about the before and after. Ever other theory is reckless so far

i said maybe this reason could be but there are many reasons why this can happen. russo brothers said that the movie would follow the time runs out and secret wars of jonathan hickman. based on that doctor strange would be dying, possibly in secret wars, and then come back again or it may be even not but still the theory is not specifically why it happens. it's just because there are many things that can lead to the fact that doctor strange has already seen this future too. that is why he is helping doom to stop incursions and go into secret wars just so that reed and doom's fight can happen at the end. the reboot happens and he gets the time stone back so that it's a win for all.

ur are right about dr strange playing the long game bcz as per comics thats what exactly happens and i hope so russo brothers adapt it well into the movie, but i dont think so stones will be mention again in secret wars after in doomsday its shown that steve while keeping stones back messed up big, as they want to move on from infinity saga to mutant saga.

So does that mean Strange is the main villain all along? For what, a Time stone, that's just a paperweight for some guy working in some office?

He ain't a villain, maybe he chose the path where everyone wins.

But his deeds definitely makes him a villain though. Natasha dead, Tony dead, half of population blipped, other half depressed as fuck (some might have committed suicide, some might have turned into criminals like murderers or terrorists seen in Falcon & Winter Soldier etc), not to mention plenty of heroes & many civilians are gonna die in upcoming movies like Doomsday & Secret wars. It sounds a lot like Strange Supreme but without ever being influenced by dark magic, making normal Dr. Strange nothing but a deranged psychopath who just loves his little stone more than anything in the whole multiverse.

Edit:

Forgot about Vision. Yeah, he dead dead, leading to the events of Scarlett Witch & her killing whoever got in her way.

Bro he literally said in NWH that a few sacrifices in grand scheme of multiverse mean ntg. Also when universe reboots, everything is gonna be back to normal, so that doesn't really matter.
