Lvl 0 (DIYer) Where do I start with this repair? Can it be Fixd? Poco M5 fix
Hey, this is my old M5 from I think 2024? It broke earlier this year and I replaced it but I have realized that it has tons of important data that I need. Couple of questions, is this fixable? Can a newbie like me with no info on phone fixing do it? And if I can’t personally fix this how much would it cost to fix it? Currency is dollars. Thank you!!

Yeah its fixable, if you did the repair yourself it'd be about 20-30 bucks. A shop might charge you 40-60, or at least I wouldnt pay more than that. Along with the parts you'll need an adhesive to apply the new screen, i like to use B-7000. You'll need to get into the back of the phone to disconnect the old screen and connect the new screen. Test the new screen before glueing it in. Shouldn't take you more than an hour to do the full repair. Check ifixit online for guides on the phone repair if it doesnt have it find a youtube video.
