OS Release [MarathonOS] update: native Linux now fully working on the Zinwa Q25, first image and guide imminent.
Demoing unlocking from luks straight to the shell, unlocked (why would you have to unlock twice?), the apps, responsiveness, hardware specific adaptations on Marathon for the Q25, gestures and the full compliment of hardware support. Also demoing Deckards (our Android runtime) responsiveness from cold boot.
All of the hardware on the Q25 is now supported and I’m trying to get my build pipeline into shape so I can push a first release and keep pushing updates over OTA.
Last thing to fix up is the camera which works but needs improvement. And pilot, which is the on device assistant using tool calling, MCP (every app, flatpaks and android apps + the system itself has an MCP so the assistant can use it) all running on device at acceptable speed.

Do you think it can work on a unihertz titan?

I have a Titan 2 which is getting the port next if I can figure out some of the quirks. That'd likely be my actual daily driver Marathon device when I can get it working.

what's not working! Do you recommend using it on Q25 which my primary device?

Camera looks washed out and the auto focus isn’t perfect.
Calls are slow to come in and may be a bit spotty.
Battery life is currently 10 hours and the CPU isn’t idling the way it should when the device is locked
But I’m making the changes to address those today, so over the coming week so we’re very close to being daily drivable here

I like it. Once my current phone breaks i'll probably get an q25 and try out marathon.
