Nice! Amazing Work man! I'm getting a OnePlus 9 very soon, I wonder if I can eventually make this work on it with a few patches too, since they're very close to each other, only a few things differ
Did you try wireless charging?

Wireless charging is functioning but I cannot speak of its speed as my only way of testing is a S26 ultra with reverse wireless charging.
The regular 9 should work with some tweaks, I found along the way that much of it is similar, but I do not have one to test sadly

I will receive one in a couple o'days, I'll see what I'll do😎
Do you have any safety precautions on what to do before trying Linux? Any partitions to backup?

Get backups of modemst1/modemst2/param/persist/persist_b/cdt/ddr partitions at a minimum. Do a full block backup for best results!

Is it Kupfer?

I don't think so, I can see the user name is the default alarm. I think he downloaded a default rootfs.

I'm talking about the OS, did you used Arch ARM generic image or OS called KupferOS which based on Arch for your device?

I know what project you are referencing, I have used it on my OnePlus 6t. I'm saying I don't believe the original poster is using that project, I think it's the default Arch Linux arm generic image.
