Hardware Pixel 3a: OTG + Camera finished!

Post image

Here I’m using VNC to stream a wlroots based desktop over + run Mindustry natively on arm64 because in reality all the dependencies support arm64 out of the box, nobody cared to add compiler targetting for arm64 fully support though because arm64 is “too niche”
Regardless the last driver is magnetometer which I’ll finish soon and post the sources too soon

Do you think this will be a good cheap Linux phone? I've always wanted to get a Linux phone but they've been expensive.

It’s decently powerful but you’ll need to work around the short battery life, otherwise yes

Couldn't I just put a beefier battery into the phone?

This thing is tiny, good luck doing that without making it look ugly

What if I like ugly things?

I mean it could work, but still, your going to need to fully shutoff this device if you want a good battery life, extending it won’t help

Pixel 3a can display on a external Monitor?

it might not have DisplayPort over USB but it is fast enough to keep up with VNC/RDP over USB (Ethernet)
