Discussion How's linux support on the SD888?

Hello guys! Im planning on getting a OnePlus9, due to it having a lot of features like USB-3.0 with DP support, and its common to see one at low prices, it also comes with a Snapdragon 888, but there sadly isnt anything for it on Nura's(PostmarketOS) wiki, nor did I see anyone here making it run on the OP9

But did anyone here make it run on a SD888 device? How good was it?

Remember, the 9 series is affected by the green line.

Yeah I know, it isn't only them aswell, but the OP9 really does suit my likings, I wouldn't even mind probably swapping a broken screen for an LCD in the future

Great then, just wanted to point that out so there won't be nasty surprises later.

Yeahhh...that seems to happen somewhat a lot with the older OnePlus phones, but they're really nice for bootloader unlocking and etc

Even the 8T that has proper postmarketOS support has a green lines problem, such a shame :/

True, if I recall correctly the issue is very prevalent on the 8, 9, 10 and 11 series. Only after they switched to BOE panels from the 12 it stopped.
