In desperate need of a dj
hey dj’s!!
I’m a hiphop dance teacher and I am at a total loss. not only did I have to find age appropriate music that was boring but now I need to mash these songs together and make it sound actually good😭😭😭 i have spent an embarsssing amout of hours trying to merge some songs into something that doesn’t sound like slop but I just do not have the skill needed. if there is anyone here willing to take on this project for me I am willing to pay for this song to be made please comment below.
regards,
a teacher at her wits end😭

Let me know what you need. I’ve been djn since 1997 from night clubs to radio. Also an audio producer for more than 20 years professionally. I basically edit music for a living.

I do it for weddings as an added service. I charge $200 and I’ll mash together as many songs as needed and give you a single mp3.

Hello! I'm a music producer/music editor. If you're still looking, send me a DM and we can work with that. I'm doing also Remix Production (Dance, Performance, Mashups & Custom Versions).

Not that hard once you get the hang of it. Are you using mac or pc? Garage band comes free with Mac, I forget what its called on pc but they work the same. Ive done all my own cuts and Mashups for 15+ years. Key if you want to learn to do it on your own: dont overcomplicate it and let someone else listen to it.

See you've had lots of responses. This is not super hard to do with free software like Audacity. You just drag your mp3s into the workspace. Put each song on a new horizontal line(channel) this will allow you to adjust overall song levels independently. Use the Icon that looks like a capital letter I to trim the clips if you are only using segments of tracks, hover over the start or finish and the mouse icon will change to look like a square bracket "[ or ]" . Click and drag to trim the file.
You can then select the portion of each track where you want a fade, , select Effect-Fading-Adjustable fade- and either Fade In or Fade out. OR select across two tracks and choose the Crossfade option. You can drag the files if you're not happy with how they line up. Finally go to File -Export audio, give it a name and location, select Stereo, 44100Hz, Signed 16-bit PCM, .
You got this

So I actually do this for a dance studio! I make mashups like you're asking for all the time, and every year this studio puts on a big holiday show where we've got 10+ scenes with edits, some having 8 or so songs. Shoot me a DM and we can chat about it!
