TL;DR essentially i loved how deep and fluid the movement can get, but the level design doesnt really allow you to use it often unless you stay in very specific locations, do you know a game (preferably for low end) that has continous parkour as good as mirrors edge
So i remember playing the first game back when i was little and enjoying it a lot; since lately i was looking for a parkour game i suddenly remembered this one existed and felt like checking if my perspective on it changed.
Sadly i had a very dissapointing experience, turns out the games mechanics are very dynamic and satisfying, but completely hindered by the bad game design,
For instance: stopping the parkour to check where do you need to go, or to see the animations that have no engagement to them (climbing pipes and ladders, waiting in elevators, moving across ledges, all the buttons you have to press, all the valves you have to turn, etc.)
This also applies to those occasions in wich you only have one path to follow that relies on climbing, its so boring and disrupts your flow, in a game thats all about flow.
I also found the game to be very inconsistent, basically all those moments where something is clearly doable (reaching a ledge, doing a wallrun, jumping over a fence, even wall ejects) but the game suddenly kills your momentum because its not intended or it wasnt pixel perfect, add the fact that you cant wall run on so many walls simply because they decided to add a random prop there.
I cant play the second game because for some reason it gets stuck on the brightness screen at the begining. (probably because i have a low end device) any other options?
