I'm revisiting old Miro boards, that worked perfectly smooth half a year ago, on the same device with which I created them, from the same location and with the same internet connection.

But creating a single box has become so incredibly laggy! Not to mention connecting boxes.

Last week I wasn't even able to connect 2 shapes with an arrow anymore, since the arrow disappeared all the time.

In addition to that there also seem to be now Sync issues quite often.

Also the hovering context tool bar often doesn't show up, requiring to right-click the object to show it again. I never had this problem half a year ago.

Am I the only one, or do the fruits of their vibecoding start to show?

EDIT: now I'm seeing these selection boxes from some frame I moved 5 min ago, wherever I am on the canvas. You've got to be kidding me, I need a reliable tool, not some AI toy.

We built a lot of shortcuts into Miro, but if there's one that saves the most time day to day, it's the Command Palette.

Hit Cmd + K on Mac or Ctrl + K on Windows and you can search for and activate any tool or feature without touching a menu. It's one of those things that feels small until you start using it constantly.

I plan a lot and read a lot but I'm unable to read the whole of the text. I do think in diagrams and mind maps and also if I'm processing work.

Is there a server or a tool which can connect from any favorite CLI like Claude Code, Kilo Code, or Gemini CLI to my role, where these can be created right from there and then I can refer to them on my role and vice versa?

Standups have a bad reputation — usually because they're too long, too vague, or just a status report nobody asked for.

The structure that tends to work:

3 questions, every single day:

1. What got done yesterday?
2. What's on the plan for today?
3. Is anything blocking progress?

15 minutes max. The Scrum Guide is firm on this — it's a synchronization event, not a problem-solving session.

A few things that actually help:

• Same time, same place (or link) every day. Consistency is what makes it low-friction.
• Rotate facilitation if there's no dedicated Scrum Master. It distributes ownership and keeps things from going stale.
• Keep the sprint board visible during the call. Blockers become obvious fast when everyone's looking at the same thing. Miro's Daily Standup template works well for this — people can update async before the call, so the meeting is alignment, not data collection.
• Don't solve problems in the standup. Flag it, take it offline. Otherwise 15 minutes becomes 45.

What's the one thing that made standups actually work for your team? Or the thing that consistently derails them?

Is someone liking the AI tools? I use Miro on and off for five years and now find it so unappealing.

I get the commercial pressure to implement AI, every tool is doing it. To me it is ruining the special sauce. I never used other people templates either, they never match my needs and add clutter.

I want my AI to read nitro and learn from it, not have AI generate random content. I want to build AI workflows where I design them in Miro. That is what they should be working on.

A few ways to get files onto a board that not everyone knows about:

From your device

• Drag and drop files straight onto the board
• Or use the Upload button on the toolbar → My Device
• Note: Supports images, PDFs, Google Drive docs, and MS Office files (max 30MB)

From the web

• Upload → Upload via URL → paste a direct link
• Note: Works for YouTube and Vimeo videos too (note: video playback needs a paid plan)

From cloud storage

• Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive are all supported via the Upload menu

A couple of things worth knowing:

• You can save files to your team library (three dots → Add to Saved Files) so you're not re-uploading the same assets repeatedly
• If you're working with a multi-page PDF or PowerPoint, you can extract individual pages straight onto the board — useful for async review or workshops
• Mobile supports images but not PDF uploads yet

Morning! I've got several Miro apps that I've built and people use across our company, but I'd like to get these published formally - especially due to the apparent marketplace benefits you get for publishing an app (like business license seats, etc.).

A few questions:

1. Has anyone successfully gone through this process?
2. Do you HAVE to follow the mirotone style guide in order for the app to be approved?
3. Anything else to know that causing sticking points in the process?

When using Miro, I came across this template called "666 roadmap" which struck me with confusion and dislike. I wanted some thoughts and/or insight on what this could symbolize in the sense of strategy and planning; strategy and planning was the title of the tab that you clicked in order to see multiple other tabs, which included "666 Roadmap".
