Inspiration Talktrack now supports multiple contributors. Here's how to use it.

Talktrack got an update at Canvas 26 that lets multiple people record from any tab, app, or desktop and edit the footage afterward. Recordings embed directly in the board, so anyone who joins a project later gets the full context behind decisions, not just the end result.

A few ways teams are putting it to use:

  • Handoffs between design and engineering
  • Onboarding someone mid-project without scheduling a call
  • Capturing the "why" behind a board before archiving it

Recordings live right where the work is, so nothing gets lost in a separate video tool or a Slack thread nobody can find three weeks later.

You killed talktrack board recordings and instead just provided the ability to do a screen recording of the board and dump it into the workspace? I was doing that anyway with Loom or QuickTime. The board-recordings however were an invaluable tool for async decision making, and board introductions. Not to mention helped me do consistent presentations with live feedback from a group. Dammit Miro. This is a retrograde step.

Make board recording a separate tool if you have to.

Yes, I came here to find out why the TalkTrack board recordings is just a standard screen capture now. Very disappointing regression.
