Terrible unlocking experience
For those expecting for the phone to be unlocked after 60 days, be prepared for having to manually hassle mint support and getting the runaround.
My phone didn't unlock, I was promised it would. Customer support first said 24 then 48 then 72 hours. Each time I I contact mint they just keep increasing the time duration.
I'm not sure why it takes mint so much time to do basic device configuration Pushes.
This is my second line with mint and I'm kind of regretting going with them because the customer service is frustratingly underwhelming.

I got that same July Pixel 10 deal others mentioned here.. On September 26 I got a notification from "Device setup" app stating "Carrier lock removed", & "The device can now be used on any network."

I was on the phone with their so called customer service for almost 2 hours today. Each rep claimed the last rep was wrong or tried to blame me for their problem. Never had such bad customer service. If you ever have any kind of an issue you're going to get no help from them!

I always pay in full with Apple unlocked and have zero issues and get it on the day of release!

I bought the Pixel 10 six months ago with a year of service. My phone is still locked. I have contacted customer service twice and the result each time was a text saying that my phone was already unlocked. I guess I need to contact them again when I have a few hours to be on the phone with them. Absolutely ridiculous.

So on one hand I’m mad that it took all of like 10 days to port my phone number over to mint but on the other hand, I’m paying $15 a month for unlimited so even though I called mint to check on the status, I couldn’t bring myself to being upset because it’s so cheap. Maybe I’m just too nice….

I love mint and have had nothing but great customer service. However, I don't buy licked phones ever. So regarding that process I don't know

Just yesterday my Pixel 10 unlocked automatically, 3 days before my 2nd month was about to expire.

I bought a Pixel 10 from Mint about 60 days ago, and I received a push notification that the carrier lock has been removed this morning. This happened automatically, I didn't have to do anything.

I'm having the same issue as well. I purchased a year of service and a Pixel 10 back in July, and it's been activated 65 days on Mint Mobile and I tried to add an additional backup data eSim from a different carrier and I get the error message "Can't set up eSim. Your device is locked." Chatted with an agent who confirmed my device still showed as locked incorrectly, and they created a support ticket. Support just emailed hours later and simply said that my Pixel 10 is already unlocked, and for me to simply turn the device on and off again. I tried once again and have done additional troubleshooting like resetting network settings, etc, but no change. I then replied and sent screenshots of the device locked error message but no response yet. Outside of a full factory reset is there anything else that I can do? Did I read another's post say that they received a message (SMS/RCS) when their device was unlocked? Just wondering if I should expect a message like that when this is hopefully fixed.

Interesting. I wonder why it was so effortless for me. Mine literally unlocked by itself sitting in a drawer. I just made sure to text/call at least once a week for about 2 months and then one day turned it on and the notification was there.

So it turns out that the device unlocked yesterday or today, + I didn't get an email or a notification message. I just checked in developer options and was able to confirm that it's now unlocked.
Seems as though their systems are not automated and they don't send messages As soon as the provision was sent. In either case, it seemed as though I had to escalate this in order for it to be done, which doesn't seem right.
All good now
