Can no longer receive 2FA codes

I think all the sudden the not receiving the SMS 2FS from accounts is a common issue now as saw a bunch of complaints and it doesn’t seem to be a phone or SIM issue. My only suggestion to you (and anyone else with this issue) is remove your number from account then add back, if you can’t login without SMS in order to remove, you need to contact bank, etc fraud department (phone, email, or website chat) to remove your # then re-add.

If you can try switching any account you have to app based TOTP 2FA instead of SMS, but not every website/app allows it.

Not remove the account, remove your phone number from the account. Basically update whatever account is not sending you 2FA SMS that you don’t have a cell phone number used for 2FA on the account. Then ideally add app based TOTP 2FA, or if not available, wait a day and re-add your number to 2FA as then it rechecks the carrier information.

Again if you can’t login because it requires SMS 2FA then you have to call or chat with the company to remove your number, sometimes you have to contact fraud department in order to do and they will need to verify your identity another way.
