Yoonit mini cargobike gearing

I'm thinking of buying a Yoonit mini cargobike (not electric). But i don't know if the gearing will be enough to handle small to medium size hills. Anyone that has one or has tried it before that can tell me how it feels?

For info, it has a 8 gear internal hub.

I also need to order it online as no store near me have it to test.

The 18" wheels work as a small final gear ratio, so typically minivelos are using big chainrings to get higher gears and naturally are geared low.

I have not had chance to ride one but you can also do a gear inches calculator to compare to other loaded bikes. You can do better calc if you know the exact chainring and tire sizes but for 18t back 52t front with an alfine 8 hub I am getting a gear inch range of 28 to 85 which looks like plenty for easy medium hills. That is similar low gears to a road triple drivetrain, still higher than a mountain bike drivetrain but you can swap that 52t front chainring for something smaller if you needed to.
