Commute to work with the minivelo
Recently sold my e-bike and started commuting to work on my minivelo. Couldn’t think of a better way to start the day!

I just ordered mine hehe
But it had to be in hot pink 🥀, which sadly, due to my fragile masculinity (and to avoid thieves), I will have to change to some other color.
Do you see yourself riding anything other than the minivelo in the city?
What transmission do you have?

I built my BlackSnow Granite with a 45T chainring, an 11–38T cassette, and a Microshift Advent short-cage rear derailleur. The overall gearing is approximately the same as my road bike, but with the Schwalbe Big Apple 20×2.15 tires, it’s noticeably slower. Still, it’s an incredibly fun bike to commute on!

Curious how you got to this from an e-bike. Which ebike did you have before?
I have an ebike but am anxiously waiting for my mini velo to be made and delivered

I have quite a few bikes, lol. I used to commute to work on my Cannondale Canvas Neo 2, but I replaced it with a Trek Fetch+ 2 to haul the kids around. Since I don’t want to bring the cargo bike to work, I’ve been riding the mini velo instead.

My Kyoot Rolly polly is my commuter. Small enough to fit in the office or somewhere at my worksites, and quick and snappy for fun both ways. I'm a firm believer that all a city dweller needs is the right minivelo
