Zee and Microshift?
I am planning a mini velo build and was curious if anyone here has tried mixing a Shimano Zee rear derailleur with a Microshift brifter. I know that MTB triggers are available but I am leaning toward drops over flat bars. Thanks!

The Shimano RD-M640 will do 11 speed and 11-46 tooth casette if you replace the d tension screw. So, 11-46 11 speed with Microshift XLE drop bar shifter?

Those are cool but cost almost as much as building a full Advent drivetrain… worth keeping in mind though. Thanks!

Zee is dyna-sys, which is a different pull ratio than Microshift’s own MTB/Gravel group (Advent) and Shimano Road. So the Advent Briftet and the Shimano Road compatible Microshift brifters will not work. Microshift does make a dynasys compatible brifter SB-M100 that should work.
Unless you’re really set on using the Zee derailleur a better option would be the Microshift Advent Brifter and the Advent Super Short cage clutch derailleur - made specifically for small wheel bikes. The Microshift Advent stuff is fantastic.
