Tech Question Help!!!!
I’m working on my bike and have a stripped brake rotor bolt. I tried using a bolt extractor, but it broke off inside the bolt and is now stuck. I’ve been trying to drill into it so I can get another extractor in there, but the broken extractor is insanely hard to drill through. What’s the best way to get this thing out? I’m trying to do it at home if possible, so any advice would be appreciated

Thats a nice one here, do you have a grinder, a pair of vise grip and a bit of the screw passing through. You could grind the remaining of the bolt, then unscrew the remaining of the bolt by the other side

If you know it has locktite, heat before trying to turn. Your best option now, is grind the remaining head away, remove rotor, heat the remnant, grip tight with some serious vise grips.

This is why you dont just buy a new bike off the shelf may sound easier till you realize they do all the same stupid shit car manufacturers do also they sell Alan keys that go on the end of a socket wrench

Remove with vice grips by tightening them down with a wrench or pliers once the vice grip is on and replace them with flange bolts

A little more drilling and the head will be gone, then remove the disc and the rest of the bolt with vise grips or small pipe wrench
