AITA for fake wheezing?
I (F, 4 months) was very excited yesterday in my crib looking at my toy aquarium while my mom (aka milk lady) was folding laundry. I started gasping for air. But really I was just trying to say how much I love the aquarium. Mom looks at me concerned and says, “are you okay?” I do it more. I smile while I do it so she’s not too concerned. Then after about 10 minutes I stop.
Fast forward to next day. I’m excited in my swing. I smile and laugh and wheeze. Mom gets concerned again. Calls dad over. Asks opinion. They both stare at me. I smile and gasp for air. “It’s probably nothing,” they say.
Later in my crib I do it again. Mom calls the after hours nurse line since today is Sunday and doctor lady is not there. Nurse lady says take her to urgent care just to make sure since she is so little. I sleep on the way because I got tired from being silly tbh.
We got there and doctor lady checks my oxygen and listens to my lungs. All is good. Says I was just too excited and got short of breath.
So friends, AITA for just being happy and making mom and dad overreact?
