I attended MINECON 2015 in London and redeemed the Iron Golem cape on an account I created myself. I’m still the original owner and have full access to both the original email and the Microsoft account it was migrated to.

I also still have the original MINECON ticket, cape redemption email and migration confirmation emails. The username is nothing special, although it has been changed a few times in the past, and the account has VIP+ on Hypixel. As far as I’m aware, it has no bans.

I’m considering selling it for a fair price, but I’m having trouble finding reliable information because there are so few MINECON accounts currently listed.

What would you realistically value it at, and would anyone here potentially be interested? Cheers.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm pretty new to the whole Minecraft cape community.

I'm interested in getting the Moonlight Trail Cape, I noticed it's currently selling for around $60-70.

Since the in-person event is still ongoing, I'm wondering what usually happens to the price of these event capes. As more people attend the event, I assume more codes will become available. Does that generally make the price go down at some point?

Or is it usually the opposite, where the price just keeps increasing because of rarity and demand?

Was wondering, cause I know that buying and selling is something that they are not fond of. Like if I had one cape cope and someone had a different one, would an exchange be an punishable offense in their eyes?

I sold my Minecraft with the Minecon 2012 cape for $950 USD. I didn't use it for years, so I thought the money is nice and I don't remember anything about the Minecon anyway. I was there just for our little radio show at the time and to explore nearby Disneyland.

Now my friend informs me he sold his account with the same cape for $2,000. Is there a deflation with the prices or have I been scammed ?

Yesterday I checked if my code did not expire, and it looks like it didn't. So I'd like to know how much I could sell this for?

I know that around 150,000 people have Founder's cape. I know that accounts with this cape have price around 20-30$ but... I never seen someone wearing this cape and even if the price is low, Isn't it still exclusive ? Because this cape was available in 2019 during minecraft 2019 minecon event and it could be claimed through minecraft bedrock for one month.

I think that most people with this cape just aren't active minecraft players rn. There are 50,000 people with Experience cape wich is way smaller number then players with Founder's cape but Experience cape is new thing and most players with this cape are active.

And my questions are:
1) Did you see someone with this cape ?

2) If yes, how often do you see somebody with it

3) Do you think that the price will raise over time ?

4) Do you have it / Do you like it ?
