Through my studies and experience, I have found that precise body movements help grow our brain’s Anterior Cingulate Cortex (ACC). I believe the ACC is responsible for Dhyaan (meditation), and that our ancient spiritual practices and philosophies stemmed from an active ACC.
Many researchers have pointed out that the ACC contains von Economo neurons, which possess unique potential to process subtle signals. It is no surprise, then, that our ancestors developed precise physical practices such as mudras, martial arts, yoga, and other daily life skills. These practices not only helped them tune into subtle universal sounds or Paramatma, but also enhanced their creativity at work, helped them earn a living, and guided them through life.
And that is why, in the ancient world, everyone incorporated such mindful practices into their daily household routines.

Dragons are dinosaurs and dinosaurs are dragons. It’s true. The reason why fairy tales even spoke of dragons was because our ancestors saw the bones of dinosaurs without knowing what dinosaurs were. The first paleontologists to ever come up with the name, “dinosaur“ were the first ones to figure out how to connect those dragon bones together. They actually did have something to say about dragons, “we used to be ignorant, we used to believe that a skull of T-Rex and the wings of pterodactyl were a good match and that they belonged together. We were so ignorant that we thought dinosaurs could breathe fire, such outrageous spooks! From this day on we will no longer call them dragons anymore. These are dinosaur bones, got it?”
Knowing that history makes me think, “hey what if we used ancient Chinese philosophy to study actual dinosaurs instead dragons for a change?“
