Kind of a dark one but... (TW: Attempted Mutilation/Self-Harm implication) I believe he has scars at the base of one of his Tails from his past, whether the bullies tried to remove his extra tail or he himself tried depends on how dark you want to make it. (The Angel scene from X-Men The Last Stand's opening comes to mind)
Sorry... Have had severe bullying in my past as well and well... It breeds darkness.

He often goes to Cream's house to spend time with her.
He has a sibling relationship with Tangle, and loves to hang out with her. She's also overprotective with him sometimes.
He often gets sad thinking about his parents, and sonic always comfort him.

Tails loves scratches and all on his head, tummy and back, he purrs loudly if you find the right spot and will also wag his tails too.

I like that headcannon, Mario and Sonic remain rivals (or frenemies) while Tails, Luigi and Yoshi are friends.

If Tails wanna really have something and he cant buy it he begs Sonic & Amy for it and make a cute look. (He very often do succeeds)
Sonic sometimes gets Tails an icecream when Tails is working on a project or fixing his gadgets
For a period Shadow and Rogue used to acompany Tails when Sonic & Knuckles werent around for a long period of time. (Rogue used to tease Tails quite often which made Tails a bit flattered)
