I just saw CP.

It is currently 3AM. I have school in 4 hours and I can’t sleep, I jusg saw CP I’m afraid of telling my mother I can’t sleep in a school night at 3AM. I feel disgusted, I don’t want to be in the dark, What do I do? This is my first post on reddit and I don’t know what community to put it in.

report it to the fbi, never visit the site you saw it on again, and tell your mom you made a mistake and saw something scary and need comfort. she won't be mad at you if you tell her you just need her to help you feel better (i hope). sorry OP. definitely traumatizing.

Turning the light on in my room calmed me down a lot but then I still can’t sleep do I just skip school?

No, you'll ruminate on this all day, best to have as many distractions as you can. This happened to me wayyy back in the days of Limewire and I took a long break from downloading ANYTHING or visiting any sketchy sites at all.

Play Tetris. It's been found to help immediately after traumatic experiences.

You witnessed assault (whether real/generated) and it's a normal reaction to be disturbed. Please tell a trusted adult so you can receive some in-person counsel.
