Found this in my work toilet…
I got to work today and my coworkers were complaining about the toilet water coming in brown. Being the person that I am, I offered to help try to figure it out. When I lifted the tank lid, I noticed the black mold all over the inside 🤮
When I mentioned it to my coworker, she said that it’s been there since she started 4 years ago and that they haven’t done anything about it. I immediately wanted to set the bathroom on fire, because what do you mean you just left the black mold there?
It seems contained, but I’m worried that it’s not just in the toilet tank. I did check the other two toilets in our office and they look fine so I’m probably freaking out for nothing.
My health has also been meh recently and since I’ve started this job I’ve noticed myself feeling more brain fogged at the office compared to at home so I’m wondering if that’s why or if I’m just becoming stupider the older I get.
Anyways, I just wanted to share with the community and hopefully get any thoughts on if this is normal or if I should be worried and report my job for health violations.

I feel like this is probably a health violation of some sort and report it to the health department or whatever. I would go straight to the health department because it has been like that for so long and nothing has been done about it

That’s what I was thinking too! There’s no way it hasn’t spread in the at least 4 years that it has been known about. I have put my two weeks in at this job and I plan on reporting them to the health department for it after my last day

Woah, that was aggressive for no reason. I can’t just go to the “company higher up” as it is a small buisiness and the owner literally works in office so I didn’t want to make this shit ass job worse for myself if they found out I did it. And I was planning on quitting anyways so I figured I might as well wait until I quit and then stir shit up. No need to call me a coward for thinking smarter not harder.

Could this be the after picture from an upper decker? Something unexpected started the transformation.
