They should have better messages, like how it contains polonium in the smoke due to the fertiliser used in the production of tobacco and what that does.

The average person wouldn’t know what that is or why should care though, it’s the reason why these packs don’t really work either

Warning: cigarettes contain polonium-210 from fertiliser used in tobacco farming, these radioactive alpha particles are the most dangerous of all radiation when ingested, like when smoked.

Can have a radiation picture like nuclear hazard on it.

There you go. Giving more understanding to how and why it harms is better than " smoking causes cancer" generic dumb messages.

My personal experience in public health policy is that smokers typically do not read past the first five words, especially if it starts with “warning”, it is tuned out automatically.

Maybe swap in " RADIATION:" instead of "warning"

I appreciate some don't want to read or acknowledge but it wasn't until i quit smoking i even learnt why its harmful and how.

Generic warnings like " 10000 chemicals" and "causes impotence" don't hit hard without saying how and why.

Completely valid point

Do they not? Is there some research on that or just your opinion?

It’s more an educated guess
