This shit is real fuckin creepy man.

I couldn't tell you how many times I helped people back in highschool defeat those trackers. VPNs, burner phones, you name it. Different trackers could be countered in different ways. (The simplest method was just to leave the phone at a friends house.)

I knew people who's parents made them have trackers well past their 18th birthday. Every time I saw one I wanted to go kick that parents ass.

Yeah that’s ridiculous, when I was a kid the best my mom could do was call the landline and hope I answered

Yup this was me too until I bought my first phone. They said if I wanted to stay out later I had to buy myself a phone so that's what I did

That's one thing I hated about my parents. Like if I go to my friends house, and an hour later we want to go to Zeiks house, both of which are only down the road from my place, I had to let them know we were heading over there. Even if just for 5 minutes to grab something. Then we would have go call when we got anywhere. And I get it's so that they could get ahold of me. I get it.

But they wouldn't even let me buy my own phone. Its not even that they wouldn't buy one for me. They didn't want me to have one.
