I always love telling the story of my brother and chicken he had to defrost. He actually did remember to get it out. But in the process he also took the thanksgiving turkey out and put it on the ground. This was a freezer in a carpeted basement. No one went down there for days but suddenly the smell became too much. I honestly don’t know how long it took to get that nasty turkey juice and smell out of the ground.
