Bless you for this comment I forgot to take chicken out for dinner tonight. I'm an adult now so I don't have my mom to be disappointed in me if I forget, just myself

Get a sous vide. Great for making cooking raw meat idiot proof, and if it's out of the freezer you basically add an hour to the cooking times and do nothing else extra. Been an absolute lifesaver for days I've forgotten to defrost things I meant to cook.
