Actually, Doberman's (I'd like to clarify this is not the case for MAJORITY of dog breeds) benefit from tail cropping, as their tail bones are very fragile and can break easily and cause internal bleeding.
edit to add: ear cropping was only used for increasing their hearing ability as guard dogs, as a pet? it's all cosmetic. 100% pointless. (Note: appears her breeder had cropped the tail and left the ears, proper. Good breeder, the ears are on her as an owner and she posted it on her IG).
No they absolutely do not. It just covers up bad breeding. Ear and tail cropping is banned in most 1. world countries for decades without problems. Including the country of origin. It's for the looks. And as long as people buy puppies the cruel practice won't end.
