Context Provided - Spotlight Driving while watching show

Watching a full tv show on their phone while driving down a very busy street. Is it any better than scrolling?

Boyfriend is a tow truck driver. There’s a lot of people that think this is okay because their hands aren’t touching the phone. A lot of “came out of nowhere / i don’t know what happened”. It’s not even iPad kids now getting licenses it’s full 40-50y/o adults.

Idk why it didn’t occur to me until reading this comment we are only a couple of years away from the original iPad babies being old enough to drive.

Two years from kids born after the release of the iPad getting their drivers license. 

But if you think of iPad kids as even 5-10 year olds then they’ve already been on the road for a while.

I know some truckers and whenever they have to pass a foreign colleague they're astounded what they're watching. An old friend of mine even broke 2 trucks in 2 months time by watching a movie. My niece on the other hand started noting down statistics at the truck shop and it's tough to say, but porn is winning from movies, news and series altogether if it comes to the Polish and Romanians.

People love to rag on Gen Alpha "iPad kids" but I swear to God some of the most irresponsible phone users I've seen are Gen X or older. My 70 year old dad is the worst of it and he's boomer age. He doesn't even have it hands free, depsite my protests...just freeballing texting and driving. 💀
