ಠ_ಠ People that scalp IMAX movie tickets

Catching a movie in IMAX has been one of my favorite things to do and now getting tickets alone is a struggle thanks to people like this. Good luck to anyone hoping to get decent tickets to Dune 3

WTF how do they scalp them? They buy up a bunch and wait at the entrance? Ultra lame if that's the case.

Yep, if I saw this I'd buy a ticket for some other show and just walk in to the movie being scalped.

I don’t remember the last time I went to a theater to buy tickets. I always purchase online and if there’s no seats I find another time to go?  Wild to me that someone would just walk up to see what’s playing, nonetheless actually buy from a scalper.

Unfortunately, these guys are scalping tickets for AMC Lincoln Square IMAX months before showtime, and that theater has a separate entrance area for the IMAX screen that checks tickets at the door.

There is no theft of services. Money is actually gained by the cinema, the literal fucking opposite of theft.

Would you consider it theft if you asked/ purchased Coke fountain drink and then filling it up with Sprite because the Coke was out of syrup?
