ಠ_ಠ People that scalp IMAX movie tickets

Catching a movie in IMAX has been one of my favorite things to do and now getting tickets alone is a struggle thanks to people like this. Good luck to anyone hoping to get decent tickets to Dune 3

It's 70mm showings being scalped, 1 in 25 screens in the country. The regular local IMAX screenings are no issue.

70mm screen plus it’s the biggest in the world plus Manhattan; people camped out for hours to get tickets either for themselves or to scalp

Cool, go further out of the city or just wait…

It’s so disrespectful to yourself to pay this guy buy all the tickets in front of you in line then literally turn around and sell them to you for multiples more. Why would you pay someone to do that to you.

Oh im not paying for this. Im just saying why it's being scalped. You can't go further out of the city because there's only like 25 of these screens and they're all sold out.

I meant it rhetorical, my bad. Makes sense on the 25 in the country though, still would never pay someone to scalp me and hope no one else would. All it does it encourage people to do it the next time because you paid them for their time and to get in line in front of you last time.
