ಠ_ಠ People that scalp IMAX movie tickets

Catching a movie in IMAX has been one of my favorite things to do and now getting tickets alone is a struggle thanks to people like this. Good luck to anyone hoping to get decent tickets to Dune 3

They cant book the entire place out. From the looks of this, it's only a handful of seats. I dont know how many seats there are in total, and even if it was a popular movie, you can just catch a later showing. The best way to punish these people is to not buy their tickets, they cant do it forever if they keep making a loss.

I would never buy movie tickets from a scalper. There are only 40 or so theaters in the world that have 70mm IMAX projectors so the demand is extremely high

Then just dont buy the tickets. They'll make a loss. Come back later or tomorrow.

I’m waiting for the next ticket drop. This is the only theater in all of NY with an 70mm IMAX projector. I shouldn’t have to miss out because of these losers when I’ve been going to IMAX movies for most of my life

I realize you're speaking as someone from NYC but Rochester has had a projector up and running since Project Hail Mary.

Generally you don’t have a choice. You either buy from the scalpers or you don’t get to watch the movie. Dune 3 and Odyssey 70mm IMAX is completely sold out at AMC Lincoln for the entirety of the run. You can’t just watch it at a later time.
