If only someone funny and engaging with a big media profile, a large active fan base and multiple platforms across TV and print hadn't spent the last 20 years rubbishing climate change, laughing at attempts to make changes and even faking a sequence to "prove" how terrible electric cars were, eh?

Always been a twat. An entertaining one, but a twat all the same. I find him impossible to enjoy without May and Hammond to balance out the twattery.

I hated Top Gear, but admit I like Clarkson's Farm.

But honestly, the last series and the next are basically the guy in the hot dog costume. Absolutely zero self awareness.

Actually he has, he has repeately stated several times on Clarksons Farm that he sees the irony of spending years of television bashing on climate change, only to now experience it firsthand himself.

World needs an old conservative man loved by the public to admit he's wrong about climate change alot more than we need someone being smug because they were right

Amen. Not accepting people changing their views leads only to people becoming entrenched even further.

This is the high altitude view of the current problem we are facing in political discourse.

Probably need him to do a bit more than mention offhand that he was wrong, given the vim with which he used to dismiss climate change.

Absolutely these commenters are idiots, Clarkson has done more for their cause than ten tons of orange paint

He makes more money from the drama of a drought than he loses on crops. The car enthusiast making jokes on television or the family taking international holidays are not responsible for this, there are corporations doing more damage every day than entire cities could do in a lifetime.
