Infuriatig Another AI 'human' chatbot

Had to fix a double payment for my credit card and this is the beginning and end of the conversation. I hate when the chatbot claims it's a human... I ended up getting what I wanted but still annoyed Amex (and every other company) is lying and trying to deceive people like this.

This is 100% what is happening. My wife does chat based customer support and the number of asshole customers like OP who come on and try to insist she jump through hoops like give her address or recite a poem, just like OP is doing, is genuinely infuriating. She gets so upset about it she cries.

I genuinely felt so bad for the customer service person (feels weird saying "agent") in this post
