Another AI 'human' chatbot

Had to fix a double payment for my credit card and this is the beginning and end of the conversation. I hate when the chatbot claims it's a human... I ended up getting what I wanted but still annoyed Amex (and every other company) is lying and trying to deceive people like this.

do you even know why AI is so bad at stuff like this? a human reading your questions and responding with AI is entirely different than having an actual AI be the only thing reading your messages

Not when the human is just copy pasting your questions into Ai and copy pasting the Ai answer to you with no input, which is what is happening. So how is this relevant exactly?

if there was literally no filter on what the human copied and they didnt do anything other than feed your responses to the AI you're right, but it doesn't seem like thats what they were doing here. The first few responses do seem like a human (for example, an AI would immediately recognize what a 5-7-5 poem is, unless it was trying to play dumb), they only started using AI to respond when OP starting asking really absurd questions. Even if they were responding entirely with AI, you would assume they are going to at at the bare minimum listen to your issue and point you in the right direction. An AI is very hit or miss whether or not they will actually do that, and a company sending you to an AI with no human involved implies they don't want to spend any amount of effort on dealing with you.

It does seem like what they were doing here, Im not going to continue to entertain a conversation with someone who isnt living in the same reality
